1.
I think Askou should get the excuse that it was his first time playing in front of a crowd that big.
I haven''t seen the same generosity offered to Theolilitis!
Id also like to commend Lambert for picking Korey Smith, I thought he was excellent today and his tenacity and enthusiasm really kept the midfield ticking over.
Agree completely - like a little terrier!
 2. I agree and it wasn''t only the goals. They frequently looked uncomfortable and unconvincing - against a better team?
 3.

Spillane looked very good, won lots of tackles, gave 100% and he can distribute the ball well aswell.  If there is anything he needs to work on, it''s his heading.  Only made one mistake which led to their second goal, and all he did was become to eager to clear the ball away and got a bit to tight to his man. I would be very happy seeing him play lot''s of games this season.
I was obviously at the game played in a different but parrallel Universe. Spillane was out-muscled by their big forward and never looked in control of the situation. Askou got him out of trouble several times although saying that, I didn''t think he was particularly impressive either. This afternoon was a great opportunity for Spillane but he singley failed to grasp it. I think it is safe to say that this pairing is unlikely to remain in place long but in truth perming any two from the four recognised centre backs hardly gives me much room for confidence. If Lambert doesn''t fancy Doc, then he needs to go into the transfer market because he is still the best of a very average bunch in my opinion.
Agree completely. I thught that the two looked a bit shaky throughout and lacked physical presence - I fear for how they would have done away from home against a better team. I suspect that they are trying to move Doc on (to save wages) - so let''s hope he has someone in mind!
thought

 5. My guess is that we will see plenty of the Doc this season. I wouldn''t say his replacements excelled.
 6. I didn''t see or hear any batons - were they in all stands?
 7.
At least we have someone now, who know''s what he''s doing. Dropping Dotherty was an excellent start!
Yes, the centre of defence looked very tight without him!
 8.
Today if we don''t get three points and see a dismal performance again?
We sack tha manager of course!
 9.

There are quite a few Essex based members of the Capital Canaries. The train we catch stops at Shenfield and Colchester on the way out and Colchester, Chelmsford (1730) and Shenfield (1800) on the way back. Return fare of only £12. See our website or PM myself or Tim Allman for more info.
Are those timings correct? How can it be 1730 for Chelmsford?
The times noted are the departure times from Norwich.
Derr - sorry!
 10.
thats the train that leaves norwich at 3.25pm when we are 4-0 down badger !
Hopefully it will be empty for the rest of the season!

 12.
On a recent poll, women were asked whose sperm they would rather have to father their babies out of Brad Pitt and Stephen Fry. 90% chose Stephen Fry!
Ironic really!
 13. I think we all have a filtration process. There are certain people who we take seriously and think about; others annoy us and we like to argue with them and others amuse us in a parental way! Some we just ignore any thread that they start. In the end, we just trust our own judgement.I live in Essex and don''t have many friends "in the know" but do know one or two people who have links and pick up "snippets." They have always been wrong though (but i trust their intentions completely) - I am glad that i have never posted the rumours although tempted!I know some just post to wind everyone up, but equally others genuinely have hear something and want to put it into the public domain - there is no harm in that.
 14.
Green was a better keeper than Gunn IMHO.
I know memory is clouded with age and rules/ tactics have changed but my youthful memory is of KK regularly taking corners/ crosses near the penalty spot. Plus as a shot saver...
