Just finished watching the Sky repeat of the game. Every time the camera paned onto the town fans they just stood there like statues in complete silenceĀ

They were the worst group of fans, either Norwich or Ipswich in the history of the Derby, I just couldn't understand it as they were top of the league šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø, just a weird bunch.

Just the absolute worst plastic wannabe cockney bunch of freaks that are out there.

Look at the avengers style team of internet people they are assembling with this mustard guy, Ipswich crazy, those twins that look like they were grown in a compost bag and then thereā€™s the ā€œyoofā€, absolute bunch of TikToking weirdos that need to be on a watchlist.

Just a very weak club and not just mentally.

According to their forum, they beat up a few of our lot on the way to the ground from the Townhouse pub. No coppers around.Ā

I also read that, but it also seemed to be the case that our lot went looking for it. No time for anyone involved in that nonsense on either side. Constantly dragging the rest of normal football fans through the mud.

This.

We had neighbours where the chap was an "Ipswich fan", hadn't been to Portman Rd for many, many years and his missus had zero interest in football.Ā

Recently they popped up on FB attending a game at Portaloo Rd. Therein lies the problem for Ippo, lots of "fans" Ā appearing now things have got better. I am happy to be corrected but I do not think the celebrity ginge said much about being an Ippo fan until the last couple of years.

Where were they all when the were languishing in League 1 and Championship obscurity?................

This 100%.Ā
And even these plastics talk about what a massive club they are .Ā
I know loads of them. Stopped going years ago. Now back they come . all ā€œTownā€ fans .Ā

Ā

This board was infested with them after the Southampton game.Ā

Ā

Itā€™s just a nothing county with a nothing football team. Theyā€™ve got nothing going on, no identity. They arenā€™t even close enough to London to fall into the ā€œbasically Londonā€ Essex style orbit so they are just an absolute dead zone filled with brain dead inhabitants.

I see Plod arrested a 'hard man'

Though looks more like a lard man

Looks like he forgot to shave one side of his face as well, and the old varicose veins don't look to good either

Maybe he was being taken into custody as being an offence to humanity

A complete embarrassment whatever side he has attached himself to

I'll probably get roasted for this but f*ck it. I'm a pretty large guy too. Maybe we can call him out for being a **** without having to resort to the weight jibes. Makes me wonder what people would say to me were we ever to meet.

From the bits and bobs Iā€™ve seen looked like a shockingly low amount of police on duty.. looked like Ipswich fans were able to walk all the way from the town house pub, past the fat cat and canary (presumably full of Norwich fans) and to Carrow Road before seeing a police officerā€¦ Ā I wasnā€™t there.. so I could be well out. But feels the like the plodĀ got away with one?

Also with regard to the IpswichĀ support, is this a case of season ticket holders / members of certain levels only being able to get tickets? They clearly have a new casual fan base than would struggle to get tickets for a game like this.

From what I saw (albeit a limited view) there were a group of ippo fans being escorted by police down thorpe rd towards the ground Ā and it looked like a group of city fans waiting near the junction just before the ground. As they approached, it kicked off but the police were there fairly quick and made arrests.Ā

They are lying, I was by there and they ran off when challenged. There were also hundreds of bill around there.

There was something started by Buh that I took with a pinch of salt, that 25% of their 1600 allocation was given to friends of Ed Sheeran. However this is now beginning to look factual and Ipswich as a club are now being questioned about it.

200 members of staff got two tickets each apparently, binners rightly aren't happy as they'd paid Ā£40 for membership plus done plenty of away games but didn't get a ticket for the game šŸ˜„

He flips with the wind, "supported" Bradford when younger and was a Chelsea "fan" during the Abramovich years,Ā  total plastic.

They pay Ā£40 ? lol, that makes binner Keith Scott look a bit stupid as every year he has posts saying our membership fees line Delias pockets.

Definitely was hostile before the game. At least three flash points from the townhouse to the ground from what I heard. I couldnā€™t have timed my walk to the ground any worse as I approached Thorpe road and bizarrely scummers were walking down Cotman road.

Safe to say the Norwich in waiting were heavily out numbered and were without police in attendance for about a minute as both fans clashed.

I swiftly made my way around the corner and left the youngsters to it. From what I witness Iā€™d expect several arrests to take place over the next few weeks.

The opposite, cannot re quite such a presence. I wasnā€™t happy to be held up by Rozzers approachingĀ the ground (quite enjoyed out flacking them). I donā€™t agree with the association of Gippeswyk fans with London, more accurate to note a north Essex link.Ā

I thought I'd pop onto twtd, they pay Ā£40 then it's points based depending on which away games you go to. Apparently a woman that works in their ticket office went to her first ever away game yesterday, they're not happy šŸ˜„

There is zero truth to either of these.

Police escorted their fans from the Town House and took them on a detour (Teleraph La/Cotman?) to avoid walking past the FC & C.

If its true about the ticket allocation and fans not getting the tickets I genuinely feel sorry for them.Ā
That is not a way to treat your fan base,Ā  however I will add (having worked in Suffolk for the past 20 years) I have known around 10 Binner fans, this year I know about 15... .so like cockroaches they have come out of the wood work to pretend they have always been true blue.

I can vouch for this, I drove in that way. It was swarming with police, cars even going down side roads. There were also 2 on horseback ( police that is not binners ). In fact I even commented when I got to the Coach and Horses, how few police there were around there ( probably 10 ) compared to up the road. There were hundreds outside the FCat, so they wouldnā€™t have started there lol.
