Interesting how many of the mouthy Snakepit turn up for a Cup Game

Normally empty while us old foggies make an effort to support the club

Yes. We had a week off at Ipswich though when they were on.

Why do perfect assume others want to sit where they always sit when they have the chance to try somewhere different?

You've got it all wrong Daly.

They are all middle aged divorcees remember, negotiate not having the kids for the home league games, have to take the kids and sit in the South stand for the cup games 😄

Cup games always attract a lower class of fan

Yep, normally don't know the songs, can't extract themselves from their phones and tend to moan more.

I prefer to miss early rounds but in the event of a cup run or tie against a 'big' team I'll reclaim my seat and be back with familiar faces 😉

But.. they take their kids, and that is important, as some of them might grow up to be proper fans.

Agreed. They could still do kids for a quid short of absolutely everywhere then more adults may attend.

Perhaps the Armchair Army sit on the sofa for the early rounds...

As long as you pay a premium price for an armchair at Carrow Road, Delia won't mind if you are as quiet as a mouse. Maybe I got that wrong, I meant Zoe. Just remember to sit with your arms folded, no problem.

Ideal opportunity for marriage counselling.

“I told you I’d change and make sacrifices, Norwich are at home today…sweetheart…”

“IT’S A CUP GAME!”

”There you go; even when I make an effort you have to pick fault with me. Your sister doesn’t do that…”

Etc

when I had my season ticket in the snake pit I never went to a single cup game sitting there would be nice for a chill out in the south stand with the kids

looking at the tickets this time most season ticket holders didnt bother taking up there seats anywhere in the ground

Why pick on the snake pit? I've just got 3 tickets dead centre at the back of the lower river end. Where are their regulars?

I suspect as others have said that alot of people move round during these quieter cup games and use it as a chance to try out other seats or sit with others as indeed I have.
