Midlands Yellow 4,049 Posted December 8, 2023 Could be off to the USA as head coach of Charlotte FC. Wise move for Deano or should he wait for a League One club here to come calling?
cambridgeshire canary 6,781 Posted December 8, 2023 No big clubs coming for him then? Almost like he was carried at Villa by Grealish and McGinn and has been exposed as a rather substandard manager without them

Personally I’d wait to see if Reading come calling if I was him.

A Load of Squit 5,210 Posted December 8, 2023 It makes good sense for him to go to the States as his son is playing over there and he used travel to see him whenever possible.

norfolkngood 1,087 Posted December 12, 2023 Deano will win the hearts of the fans coming out with a nice mug of Ice Tea showing he is willing to adapt to life in USAÂ
canarybubbles 1,937 Posted December 12, 2023 Judging by the pic, he's updated his image. Not at all mug of tea/fat middle-aged bloke (dare I say divorcee?) on the pull in Benidorm.

Monty13 2,241 Posted December 12, 2023 Not sure why people continue to hate on the guy, yea his football was pretty **** but he didn’t appoint himself and it’s pretty clear since he left he was doing an ok job with the players at his disposal.

Midlands Yellow 4,049 Posted December 12, 2023 Second best average attendance in the MSL, over 36,000. Deano will soon get that down.

Yea to be fair you’re right he got pretty prickly under pressure at the end. That’s fair, don’t insult supporters is rule 1. Personally I just found him a bit of a nothing manager, don’t hate him, don’t blame him for where we are now, never warmed to him in any way either. Now he’s gone just don't care about him either way to be honest.

And it didn't. But once you upset the supporters you're toast. Repeat Webber. Repeat Delia (and Michael?). While all that was going on the changes in ownership were happening. Ideally Smith would have been able to see out the interim. Wagner's been so careful not to upset the fans but it's not helping him. Only results can.
