Robbie Fowler?

Recommended Posts

Done his managerial apprenticeship overseas, doing a good job with his Saudi club unbeaten in 8 and then got sacked!

Likes to play attacking football too and knows how to set his team up defensively too.

I think he’d be worth a go if Wagner gets the boot (hopefully very soon!)

Whoever it is, I'd like us to go a bit leftfield again-in the manner of Farke, Neil or even, back in the day (and, admittedly, after Phil Neal said "no thanks" only hours after he'd said "yes please") Mike Walker...but, having said that, we'll probably go all Michael Appleton, Gary Rowett or Garry Monk again.

I know that he's been mentioned before on this forum, but I like Steven Schumacher & maybe even Ryan Lowe. It will be a gamble whoever we appoint WHEN Wagner is given his marching orders.

Rather have Kevin Muscat. And to be fair to him, he looks out of the Postecoglou mould whilst having something about him in terms of youth development.

Danny Self has done a good job at Mulbarton. And he can do whole sentences

Really left field - Sarina Wiegnan ?

The fact you can’t even get her name right worries me. If I was picking a female manager I’d go for Emma Hayes over any other female coach.

I would have wanted John Herdman as his brother is already out womens manager but he’s just taken the job at Toronto FC.

So who would you like then?

No idea. I agree Wagner’s time is up but I don’t know enough to suggest anyone. I would prefer not to go for someone who did an ok job at a club at or about our level in the UK (like Smith or Wagner), so either someone showing promise in a back room role like Knapper (or. <gritting my teeth now> McKenna), or a foreign coach with promise. But I wouldn’t pretend to know enough to suggest a name.
