Rowe feels stabbed in the back..

Recommended Posts

Good honest interview, credit to him. I don't see it as digging the manager out, just telling the truths on where they are.

I reckon interested eyes from the higher echelons of Football are already monitoring Jo Jo's progress - and if come January we don't look like we will make them play-offs....well, you know what's next.....

I think he's still very grateful to Wagner for giving him his chance. None of you suggested he was up to it.

Why make this nonsense up?

Interesting he said “lazy” moments.. someone’s taken a rollicking for the Cov equaliser.

The meaning of “Stabbed in the back” is not the feeling he was trying to express, imo.

Yup, he's just saying the result was a painful one to take.

We should sell him in January for as much money as we can while his reputation is high. We get lots of cash, he gets a career at somewhere like Crystal Palace.

Imagine if we lost him and Sara - we really would have minimal talent left.

We don't need to imagine it - I'm pretty certain it will happen if we don't go up this season. And we're not looking like we are going up.

Can certainly see it happening.

Think he's played for other Norwich coaches at a higher level.

I think you should run with that. Something like what he actually meant was he wanted Deano and Shakey back…

People reading too much into this. He's just saying it as it is. As CCC said above, someone has been nailed for the equaliser in the dressing room for not doing their job.

It's disappointing to concede late, but it is a draw away against last season's play off finalists, with our first choice front two out.  If Sargent and Barnes had remained fit I am very confident we'd have another 7 or 8 points and we'd all be feeling differently tonight.

One thing that is undoubtedly a concern, and even NN and Hoggy must accept this, is that Wagner's subs seem to change the game negatively more often than positively. It might just be a bad run, but it's happening far too often for my liking.

I think what he meant was, I would rather the ball was at my feet than at Duffys and Gibsons all the time. Especially when that is my seventh goal.

Can someone on here please explain to me why he hasn't been given a new contract already? At the end of the season he will only have 12 months left. Same goes for Sargent and Gunn

I'd guess because of the change in sporting director.

What is this 'even NN and Hoggy'?

Get the feeling Rowe is Wagner out from that interview. All is not well in the camp.

All the best.

Big Keith Scott.

His reference to lack of game management does indicate a dig at the tactical set up from the coaching team

We can offer them new contracts but they aren't forced to take them. All 3 will want a salary increase. I'm not sure we can afford that right now.

If that's the case Webber has really screwed us and we'll be left with nothing

Do you think so? I'm not so sure. Knapper will only know what he is told by Webber.

Well you two defend the club regardless is the general consensus.

Well, I post my opinion like you and @hogesar's a binner.

Are you sure we haven't replaced Kenny in your mind this season?

Edited by nutty nigel
Hoggie's not really a binner 🙃

Who knows. But if we've sorted out the next two seasons contracts we may as well employ him from Nov '24.

We've just sold Aaron, Rashica and Omobamidele for £25 million. The club need to protect their assets. All 3 are starting games and should be made to sign longer contracts or sold in January

I criticised Wagner last season,  and against Swansea. But I will always acknowledge context at the same time.
