Where Are All the Offers?

Recommended Posts

Given that any further transfer activity is predicated upon getting money for Aarons and Omobamidele, where are all the offers? The truth of the matter is that no one is keen to buy them because they are not any good. Moreover, if the boy Andrew was attracting big money interest in January, why isn't he doing so now?

Pre-season is demonstrating all the same weaknesses from last season including Delia clinging on, Attanasio being a complete red herring, no quality in the squad, no 💰 and underwhelming recruitment.

Delia has the club in a handcart and it is being wheeled to L1.

MY those would make the deep fried jam sandwich the healthy option…..

I meant sandwich, a warm overpriced beer should wash them down well.

That’s not correct from the start, though: Wagner has said it isn’t, and it’s Max and Rashica who are the main two who are meant to be off.

I don’t follow what ‘all the same weaknesses’ are - perhaps you can enlighten me. On second thoughts, don’t bother.  Preseason is mostly about fitness and getting minutes in the legs at this stage.

The other truth is that Delia is not even a responsible cook. Serving up food that is high in saturated fat and high in sugar places an intolerable burden on the NHS in terms of the plethora of adverse health conditions these ingredients cause. Delia has thus made herself a major contributor to the National Debt, currently standing at £2.6 tn.

Actually not quite true. Pre-season is about get the players match ready, not fitness. That is why the games are played at a far slower pace. Fitness is sorted out at Colney where players are out through a number of specific training regimes for that purpose. No game can offer that. It is also a chance for the manager to see how well players are adapting to what is being asked.

I’m not Delias biggest fan, but my word that is an odd stick to try and beat her with

Aarons is a done deal

Heard the same just now in person and came on here to see if there were rumours circulating, apparently West Ham and between £15-20m with bonuses.

I can't believe it personally as it seems much higher than I expected and not sure how good a move that would be for him.

But then, I can't see this info posted anywhere else, so perhaps it is true after reading your post... It certainly doesn't seem to be an idle rumour passed down social media.

Nobody bought Aarons off the back of having far better seasons than the one he's just had, in the 2 championship winning seasons he got forward chipping in with goals and assists, last season was a poor one for him , probably in some part having much of his attacking instincts beaten out of him by Dean Smith.

Anyone interested now wouldnt be buying because of form but purely through believing theres a cut pruce bargain to be negotiated for a player with 1 yr left of his contract

It was put out that we wouldn't talk to anyone unless they met our valuation of 30m previously.  Up until this point we've not needed to sell, but obviously things have changed now.

Aarons is clearly no good that’s why he’s been playing for England under 21s. Anyone would think you were a complete moron ( or a scummer)

Roma have now signed Kristensen from Leeds, and still have Karsdorp and Celik for the right wing-back position. Their two left wing-backs, Spinazzola and Zalewski, are both right-footed as well. Unless there's some sort of incredible revolution about to happen at Roma, I can't see how Aarons can possibly be an option for them.

This is good trolling.

The OP was a poor effort.

I agree, the first amusing post Big Vince has made for a long, long while.

I'm still baffled that there are some people, and actually regulars on the forum, who don't realise that it's a satirical account.

Do you think he just chuckles when he gets a bite, or does something a bit more blue?

She does however pay taxes regularly and on time as does Norwich City. These contribute to the Exchequer and help to bring down the National Debt. Other clubs have not been so careful with their finances and have even ripped of small local businesses and the St, Johns ambulance-There’s a club like that not too far south!

I would imagine there has been offers but a lot less than we’d hoped for. Maybe due to the fact that they are 2 defenders who were part of the most calamitous defence the Championship has seen

Tee-Hee.

Of course we'd be better off with MA and the land of privatised everything. Only 32tn debt there and a complete lack of care for anyone that can't pay.

Maybe we'd be better off with a rich Arab after all Vincey!!
