Ebou Adams playing for Derby. Another punt that didn’t bear much fruit for us, though he is having a decent lower league career after being discovered in non league football. -

Yesterday would have triggered ‘Pilgrims preyed on’……. -
We want 6

It amuses me how we have at least one statue, for Drake on Plymouth Hoe, when in reality Drake, Rayleigh and Hawkins were basically state sponsored terrorists sent out by Liz I to raid the Spanish ships. She took her share of the loot. True heroes one and all! -
R.I.P. Mal Lucas.

Thanks Barry. Think you are right. That squad was pretty useful for the second tier…… -

Saw him smash one into the Barclay end goal, can’t remember who against, when I was about 18, 57 years ago. Always thought he should have scored more; the record of roughly 2 goals per season backs that up. Never less a great player in that era. I think I can name all the fellow team members in that line up picture, except for the guy sitting next to Mal. Anyone know? Stringer, Bolland, Brown, Keelan, Alcock, Mullett, Curran, Lucas . ? , Heath, Sheffield, Bryceland, Anderson Happy Days though in hindsight, the football was pretty dire. -
Two Keepers in the Bench
Serinus Canaria Domestica replied to Ulfotto's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
DW, post match, explained the two goalies on bench. Duffy was supposed to travel and Ansen was meant to be the spare in the squad. Then just before they set off for the plane Duffy had to pull out. They could have called in one of the u21s who played at Old Trafford, it was discussed, but Wagner explained all those u21s in and around first team training had played 90 min against Man U and so the consensus was to put Ansen on the bench. No need for conspiracy theories; no need for gripes. -

The Pompey support idea is just a myth. Otherwise their manager would not have had to come out in support of Abu Kamara because of the flak he was getting from the Portsmouth boo boys! -

Mick Dennis playing the hits...
Serinus Canaria Domestica replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The appalling non answers to Connor’s reasonable question about Governance made my blood boil. The mask slipped and with it my tacit support for the Stowmarket duo. Funny MD didn’t deal with this topic in his piece…… -

We have played 19. There are 46 per season. Half way is 23 games. Next FOUR not 7 are relevant. Yours pedantically Serinus. -
Knapper interview

Going back to the John Bond years……. He through his Bournemouth recruits, Benson and Machin, coached the others, in game, to play out from the back. I don’t remember much crowd resistance then, but it is half a century ago!
