cambridgeshire canary 7,932 Posted May 13, 2022 (edited) So not only have we had Newcaslte fans wearing mock Saudi gear, proudly flying the Saudi flag and flashing bank notes at opposition fans we now have their new Saudi owners demanding that one of their new kits matches the Saudi flag colours and matches the theme and colours of the New Saudi Arabia mens national team kit. Wonder what could be next? Changing the badge to fly the Saudi flag on the castle like how Cardiff snuck in the Chinese dragon on their badge after the takeover? Or prehaps they could really make their new owners feel at home by doing some half time beheadings.. Edited May 13, 2022 by cambridgeshire canary

They/the entire team were already flown out to watch some Saudi teams play a while ago. Wouldn't surprise me if their entire pre season is based in Saudi Arabia.. duke63 758 Posted May 13, 2022 Supporters of these clubs should be under no illusion that the plan of these type of owners is ultimately to be playing exhibition (money making) games in all the wealthiest countries.

dylanisabaddog 6,196 Posted May 13, 2022 Serves them right. Thanks Cambridge. This is probably your most important ever post. Sorry to preach but should Newcastle fans be wondering what will be next? Didn't the owner of Cardiff try to change their colour from blue to red? The problem Newcastle has is that it's owners are used to making the rules and don't generally react well to being told what to do.

That's probably one of ther best looking home kits in years, then again I'm sure it will be ruined when they get their next sponser which will probably splash some giant arabic writing in bold font and brght colours on the front.. GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,073 Posted May 15, 2022 (edited) Not sure what the problem here is? Didnt Wolves have an away kit which was in Portuguese colours a season or two back? If having deemed the Saudi owners fit and proper to own the club, they can have what ever colour of (away) kit they like its the 'fit and proper' thats the issue, not the kit Edited May 15, 2022 by GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1
