City fancy French Left winger

Recommended Posts

City have been collecting left sided wingers is this to appeal to Delia's political leanings.  At the start of recruiting at the beginning of this season we already had Placheta and Cantwell and because they might not cut it we bought Rahica and Tzolis whose preferred positions are left sided.  Now we are looking again for left wingers whilst we are desperately short in other areas.

Does this mean Rashica is on his way?  Will we recover the full purchase price?

Another player who plays for a team facing relegation, these players are near the bottom on their leagues for a reason and we still try and sign them. Until we stop this cycle we will always yo-yo between the championship and bottom of the premier league.

Well I hope Paddy is wrong as he should not be on his way.

Well if he doesn't want to be here and someone makes a good offer. Don't want to get ourselves back in the 'give us a year in the champ and if we go up you can move' territory again. Didn't work out so well last time round.

Pretty sure he/Rashica only joined us as he wanted to play in the Prem. According to most rumours at the time he refused to join Villa despite good wages being offered two seasons ago as he thought they were going down (I mean they did end up surviving by only a point to be fair..)

Please lets just let Webber wander off into the sunset whilst giving us a middle finger salute before we talk about recruitment. With Webber still at the club, talking of potential signings makes me anxious.

He was not as definite as that. “Might” rather than “will.”

He recruits well for a Championship campaign.

Like Andy Robertson you mean who got relegated with Hull and now is in some people's opinion the best left back in the world?

Teams getting relegated always have some great players, often at a better price due to the relegation. When we got relegated in 2020 we still had Buendia, Aarons, Krul, Pukki etc. There's nothing inherently wrong with buying off teams near the bottom of a league.

A year in the champ and you can move if we dont go up makes more sense.
