Double edged sword; Brentford wins it's bad, they lose those it's not great for us either. We need to find 6 wins from somewhere otherwise it won't really matter what they do. At the end of the day it's better if they come down with us, which they probably will.
AJ 1,377 Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) It doesn't really matter what everyone else does, the first third of the season set our fate as, unsurprisingly after selling your best player and signing 11 new ones, it took us far too long to start playing well enough to win games. It's astounding we're even still in with a shout of survival at this point given how truly awful we were in that period, but still can't see us staying up. Would take a divine miracle run of form. cambridgeshire canary 7,932 Posted February 20, 2022 Why aren't we Brentford?
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,073 Posted February 20, 2022 You just know Eriksen will make his debut against us...which will bring its own problems Would you want to be the first opposition to play against him and be wondering how hard you can to go in on him? Even if there's a split second of doubt and you stand off him, he's good enough to then put one in the top corner from 25 yds
Green Canary 21 Posted February 20, 2022 This is a glass half full/empty test. I look at those fixtures and see an easy run of games for them 😟
Midlands Yellow 4,714 Posted February 20, 2022 3/1 Beloved Brentford to go down, 5/1 Norwich to stay up.

keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted February 20, 2022 Brentford forum is probably analysing and saying, 3 wins from the next four should do it and condemn the others.
Capt. Pants 5,152 Posted February 20, 2022 We musn't give any freekicks away within shooting range if Eriksen plays against us.. https://fb.watch/bhYTpUxkJQ/

That will put them on 33, which will be enough this season, if we were on that total now and have no confidence of picking up any more points to the end of season, I’d be breathing a little bit better by now!. Brentford are not our concern table position or relegation candidate wise, but a team we are capable of beating. Hank shoots Skyler 2,094 Posted February 20, 2022 Considering Brentford have to play us Watford Burnley Newcastle Leeds and Everton I don’t think the fixtures look especially difficult, and if anything closer to favourable for them. That’s the bottom 6 teams in the league excluding them out of their last 12 games! Plenty of opportunity for points in there.
Jimmy Raggatip 66 Posted February 20, 2022 who are we going to hang our hat on if Brentford beat Newcastle and Burnley?
canarybubbles 2,211 Posted February 20, 2022 Personally, I think that's not a very challenging set of games. Like us, they have played Man City and Liverpool, and unless they really collapse, they should be able to get enough points from those games to scrape to safety.

Danke bitte 1,199 Posted February 20, 2022 Brentford will be fine. Whenever we want things to go our way they never do. So I’m fairly sure they’ll turn around their poor form

Petriix 3,250 Posted February 21, 2022 What an odd post. I don't think there's an easier run-in for another team. They're playing all the teams below them. Sure, there's four tough games in there, but the rest are winnable.
