Any photos of Delia?

Recommended Posts

Reading Michael Bailey's piece, I wondered if anyone had any stills of Delia looking glum with us 2-0 up?

I was reminded of that photo of Sutton with Robert Chase. I only managed to find this:

Delia Smith, majority shareholder of Norwich City takes a selfie with... News Photo - Getty Images

If that photo IS from Brentford then it is taken with her knowing full well what is about to happen. Unlike this fan

The photo has been posted in page 6 of the Lampard favourite with bookies thread

This is what the OP's referring to. We were 2-0 up at the time.

When the cameras zoomed in, I was like "cheer up Micky and Deelz, it might never happen..."

Little did I know. They knew because the decision had been agreed yesterday morning. God bless Delia, she hates sacking managers. It's really sweet in many ways.

The King is dead. Long live the King.

The cry babies will soon have a new God to worship should he keep us in the Premier League.

And Delia will be kissing his/her behind and giving interviews about how much she loves them. When someone’s sacked though there will be nothing.

Well you've hardly been the ray of sunshine of late. What is it you actually wanted to happen?

Looks like on Cambridgeshire Canary's "Official Farke Out Poll"..... Midland Canary was one of the 24.87% who voted for Farke to stay in his job, and Herman was one of the 61.9% who voted for Farke to be sacked.

Yet another poster who is confusing anti-board or anti-Webber sentiment with anti-Farke sentiment. Midland Yellow has long been disillusioned with Webber and the board, not with Farke.

I really do not get people who dislike the board for making the decision before the game.  Letting people go (whether you sack them or encourage them to resign) is a horrid thing to do, and definitely should not be done lightly, so a single game / result shouldn’t affect the decision.  It is really tough if you know and like the people personally.

I have only had to do it a few times, but it is an awful experience and I recall shaking before I did it, I thinkDelia, Michael, and Stuart had given us and the manager all the stability we could expect.

Yes, I said I wanted him gone and I haven't been hypocritical about it.

Midland Yellow has been critical of the board and Webber though, he hasn't been hypocritical either.

Delia will be hurting far more than the majority of fans, she lives this **** 24/7 and they all had a love for Farke.  People who can't see that are too far gone on the spectrum.

Decision had to be made for the good of the club.  If they were deciding on the result of one match as a reactionary dismissal it would be bad form, but clearly not the case.  Farke was on his second cycle and regressing.  most managers are lucky to see a single cycle thro.
