Tumbleweed 106 Posted April 17, 2021 If anything Pearson should have been sent off for lunging in. Dmitris tried to pull out but momentum took him through. Ref a total ****-whole.
Icecream Snow 761 Posted April 17, 2021 Farke's normally calm and doesn't let anything get to him, but even he's incensed by the refereeing. Totally spoilt the game. Bournemouth weren't in the game till the sending off, Danjuma aside, haven't looked great. I struggle to see how we're going to cling on and get anything out of this game though as we're slowly being ground down and run ragged .
nutty nigel 7,554 Posted April 17, 2021 Loved how Hugill was out supporting every one of the players as they went off half time. That's the spirit we have.

Indy 3,307 Posted April 17, 2021 I just never understand why referees feel the need to show a red when it was clearly in front of him and no malice, no two footed lunge just the follow through! Obviously has more in his agenda than just refereeing a match for the best of football. Simple yellow and move on! No hum that’s football!
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted April 17, 2021 Great half under the circumstances. Great goal. Total dominance and then that little cnut Pearson gives it the girly scream. But we are showing them the outside and they are clueless as Solanke and Billing can't get to the ball first. Hanley, Skipp and Buendia tackling like machines. So come feckin Barry Cilit Bang Scott, even it up. You didn't even book Smith for clattering Hanley.

Indy 3,307 Posted April 17, 2021 Having just watched it back, Giannoulis is lucky he didn’t get there a second sooner as he’d probably be joining our injury list the way Pearson jumped in two footed! Rather a red than a long term injury!

Yeah, that's the only fun to be had from this particular game right now. Keeping the team with an extra man out of our penalty area. Nice to see we can do it, but I was hoping for some champagne football. Or at least prosecco football.
