In the same league, Portsmouth's Whatmough was on for a hat trick of own goals against/for Hull.

Well b back 3,603 Posted January 23, 2021 The game served its purpose, although I guess Farke being Farke is disappointed we did not win. Only downside is Hugils injury. Many players got a game to keep or get up to fitness should they be called on for 1st team duty. As a championship side to be able to make that many changes and still have such a strong group of players all goes well for the future.

There’s not much money in the cup and a good cup run doesn’t help you in the league - in our League One season Leeds went on a good cup run which included a win at Old Trafford, that helped us out as it provided as a distraction for them
Feedthewolf 5,885 Posted January 23, 2021 Swansea through to the fifth round, so they'll have one extra fixture to play. Bournemouth will also go through if they beat Crawley tomorrow. Brentford play Leicester so less likely to progress. Also, Swansea's next cup game is the Wednesday after they play us, and then they have another league game on the following Saturday.

Same shot hits underside of bar and bounces out - not a shot on target. A totally pointless statistic (as most statistics are), usually used as a cudgel to beat the team with. Sorry, I'm not playing that game. Edited January 23, 2021 by Surfer
