BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted November 7, 2020 (edited) Danny Ings's goals and general forward play have been an important part in their recent successesΒ both last season and again into this (5 in 6.) I seem to remember him giving us hell in that post-lockdown game. The fact that he is now out for a couple of months will be telling and one reason I don't think that they'll do a Leicester. He cost them Β£18m (and rising) though. Will we spend that amount on a striker should we go up this season?Β .... I ask myself. Well b back 3,606 Posted November 7, 2020 Well summed up OP. A year ago almost to the day Southampton lost 9 0 to Leicester, 90 % of people Β ( probably me included canβt remember ) said Southampton were awful and at least we are not Southampton. Got off to a flying start but have now lost 3 games on the trot. If they lose to Bournemouth after the international break and us or Watford donβt, they will fall out of the top two.
