Hahah!! Hernandez has to replace him next game and Buendia swap for McLean

The problem is that Onel is made of glass these days, so that's the solution for a few games until he gets injured again.

Dowell has been unlucky with injury and Hugill started to show what he can offer even if that's mostly just a bit of fight.

Placheta hasn't shown any glimpses of quality at all really, I'm ready to write him off as a flop. Loan out to Legia Warszaw next season and move on.

I had high hopes but sadly don’t think he is really a footballer.

honestly don’t care how fast he is!

Yes another idiotic thread.

You have no clue about the team your watch pal.

Brilliant, and tonight you are calling us a one man team.

Agree with all of that

Nah, it's much funnier watching people make these preconceptions and then looking like idiots within a few months.

Well it has been more than a few months now, and I don't look like an idiot yet.

He's a poor footballer, and I stand by my OP when I said he looks like a standard League One player.

Saw a lot more quality in Ian Henderson at a younger age, and League One is where he spent most of his career, same with Chris Llewellyn and Adrian Forbes.

Not sure if you are old enough to really remember those wingers, but I'd rate them all better than Placheta. He is simply not the required standard, one we've got wrong.

Needs to go on loan to Rovrum.

Unfortunately it looks like a signing based on Youtube videos.

He's severely lacking confidence but looks out of his depth in the Championship.

Doesn’t seem to have a footballing head. Quick, really quick, and can carry the ball, just loses his head far too easily and still looks like he’s never played with his teammates before even after half a season. A gamble that I fear hasn’t paid off.

The one defence that I do have is that it must be really difficult moving abroad then not being able to bring friends and family over, explore your new city, or meet other Polish people to socialise with.

Same does apply to Sorenson though, who has thrived regardless and is a similar age.

But still think we should just loan him out next season, see if he comes back with a bit more bottle the year after. It should be a loan designed to toughen him up a bit, send him somewhere grim like Sunderland to get kicked.

He is 22, played English football in COVID times for 6 months. He does look very raw and isn’t quite on the same wave length as the rest of the team at the moment but I would still give him time.

He can have time but it should be on the bench, not in the starting line up f**king up every move he gets involved in.

I agree he should be on the bench, I think had Hernandez been fitter the he would have been. I know Hernandez isn’t a world beater but he is our one winger that can take a man on either side and he backs teams into their own box with his close footwork, he makes us have a different option. I actually thought Idah was useful tonight too.

To be honest, it is a slight worry that we don’t appear to quite know our best side yet but we have 18 games that is a long time to get in the groove

That also applies to Sorenson though.

Sink or swim.

Don’t get me wrong he is nowhere near the player Sorenson looks. He does look a lovely footballer. I was more meaning that he is showing enough to be patient and let him develop. Other people on here likened him to Raymond de Ward, I mean seriously.... that was the worst team of a very poor period of Norwich teams!

Yes, and that's two very good points. Injuries have had a massive impact on this season, not just with regards to players being unavailable, but also finding that consistent line up.

We can’t afford to have him in the team messing everything up. We are not clinical enough as it is with Pukki having his annual complete loss of confidence.

De Waard only got 4 games though, and there was me thinking that its actually harsh on De Waard!

Didn't help that he compared himself to Marc Overmars when arriving though, kind of raised expectations himself there.

I’m not sure why he’s currently being picked. I certainly expected Onel to start today given PP’s last two performances. I appreciate it’s a strange season but PP has one goal and no assists in lord knows how many matches this season. I can’t remember the last time he actually took a player on in the league.

I actually think that Josh Martin looks a more accomplished player and has more assists this season, from a handful of games?

I’m not writing PP off but he’s nowhere near a starter in a team with Pukki up top on his own.

Peas in a pod. That was such a poor era, it helps put the disappointment of nights like this one behind you quickly because we were garbage.

didn’t he have Fernando Develd and Steve Walsh in the same team?
