Cantwell, Godfrey and Buendia confirmed to leave..😢

I wanted to reply to this post but to my surprise there isn't an emoji of Adolf doing an Adolf salute. Has anyone else found a suitable emoji for Daily Mail readers?

Edit you can't use a 4 letter word including a Z and starting with an N!

But  you can  put 2 Zs in it and I'm sure the message will  get through..... Nazzi

Am I alone in thinking that of all the potential leavers it’s Godfrey who we’d miss least? In many ways I’d be happier with a back two of Gibson and Zimbo or Hanley.

I'd argue that top quality, ball playing, centre backs are much harder to come by than almost any other position, so even if we got good money for Godfrey, we simply couldn't replace him with anyone really of a similar technical level for the same price or less (or if at all).

I don't want any of the 4 to go, and could make constructive arguments about why all of them would be equally missed but in different ways.

Oh but he is. His headline is worse than the Daily Fail headline.

(I was suggesting his standards were already pretty low for posting).

Poor old loonie lefties, love the Guardian, hate the mail. The article refers to the loss of income due to covid-19 in terms of TV revenues rebates, refunded ticket and ST income and matchday food and beverage sales. It suggests that to cover this the club might have to sell another of the ‘crown jewels’ and does not state that all will be sold.

It says ALL could be sacrificed because of lost income. One sale has already recouped last years loss anf it doesn't mean we will lose this season.

And even if we do, one sale would cover it.

But then again, you are just looking for an argument.

FFS.

Unhappy at running out of things to start threads about, to quench that unquenchable thirst he's posting actual clickbait from the Daily Mail.

Honestly, the lengths.

As certain as death and taxes, Cambridgeshire will be spam us all forever more.

Blimey the pressure is on for this season if we keep hold of Godfrey, Aarons, Cantwell and Emi!

This place will be fun if we don’t win every game by at least 3 goals

I don’t want to sell any of them but watching on saturday it was clear that Dowell and Cantwell are very similar players in terms of their style of play. A bit too similar to play together regularly for me. If, therefore, we had to “cash in” on one further sale I think selling Cantwell would hurt us the least and then after that maybe Godfrey given we have Gibson able to step in.

The headline doesn’t match the story (as if often the case). The headline and the OPs title suggest we will sell all of them. The story says we may have to sell “another” of them.

Exactly but don’t expect the Mail haters on here to actually read and comprehend the article. If it’s the Mail it must be wrong but if it’s the Guardian or Socialist Shirker then it’s the gospel truth.

Oddly it's often the Daily Mail that does the hating.
