Branston Pickle 4,145 Posted August 21, 2020 Exciting stuff, in less than 10 minutes we find out what’s what for the new season. I do wonder if we’ll have many of our fixtures farted about with - we came under the radar last time and were barely on Sky in the first half of the season, but all suffered once they realised we were up there to stay so ridiculous fixture times like Wigan away followed. I guess it doesn’t matter so much whole no one can go, though.

Branston Pickle 4,145 Posted August 21, 2020 As expected, a heck of a lot of midweek games - 5/6 week delay to the season with no delay in its end. We’ll need a big squad...

Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted August 21, 2020 Playing Watford, Bournemouth and Derby in the last five fixtures. That could be some real top to the table clashes around that time if all those teams (and Norwich) live up to pre-season expectations.

The idea that these fixtures are random is a nonsense . Those end of season games are set up for TV.
kick it off 2,062 Posted August 21, 2020 (edited) A lot of the away games I would be going for in a normal season are at the back end of this one (I'm midlands based so do far more away games than home). It's a long shot, but hopefully will be able to get to a few by then. Edited August 21, 2020 by kick it off
pearsos 56 Posted August 21, 2020 At least playing Barnsley away last game will mean we can have a big following for the promotion party (results and COVID permitting). Then it will be Liverpool away for our first Premiership game of the next season 😉😉

But even if we get knocked out of the Carabao Cup early, the only gap between the start of October and the middle of January is a Carabao Cup round in December. Any postponed games this season and the EFL may be struggling to complete the season.

In fact I wouldn't be particularly surprised if that is a majority opinion this season considering our focus on getting back to the Premier League and the truncated nature of this season. king canary 8,750 Posted August 21, 2020 Also, has anyone else found this totally snuck up on them? In my head the new season was still 6-8 weeks away and then suddenly I realised it's the end of August and we're less than a month from this new season. Midlands Yellow 4,682 Posted August 21, 2020 (edited) Well the fixtures look far less daunting than last seasons list. I don’t think Norwich fans have ever been cocky but there’s certainly no team to fear. Edited August 21, 2020 by Midlands Yellow
