1. Is that ''Cheap Cheap Canaries'' just some sad 1p5wich fan who trolls on our forum because the s.cum ones are so dead?
2. Quite incredible really, given our recent run of results and we''re still within 1 win away of being top. All the early promotion chasers have slowed down in the last 4/5 weeks. I''m feeling pretty confident, although i''ve felt like that the last 5 games...
3.
As to your question regarding whether this is news or not: the link I posted in the original post is filed under "News" on the FL website, so I''m guessing it is. [;)]
Fair play
4. Is this news? Isn''t this what happens every single season for as long as I can remember?
5. He could fit in to any championship team tbh. I could see him going to Derby and winning a league title there tbh. I''m amazed he hasn''t been playing for Hull
6. I don''t really see your argument. The two games which sunderland could''ve thrown (southampton and now arsenal) are two opponents which they didn''t play against on that ridiculously good run at the end of last season. If these mistakes were happening against chelsea and man united (teams which they did beat), then I''d be much more suspicious.
7. Bennett certainly appears to have the attributes to be a right back, and pretty much anyone must be worth a shot with Whittaker''s form. I don''t know if Bennett has played midfield his whole career but it could be risky putting a winger in defence. For all of Whittaker''s problems with his feet, he still has the brain of a defender
8. We will either come second or a very close third. We won''t win the league.
9.
Anyway, only 2 months in but I''d struggle to see beyond Turner for POTS at the moment.
Agree. Turner has been one of the few players (other than Howson or maybe Redmond) to look a cut above championship level
10. But surely someone on this forum must be friendly enough with one of the stewards and asked them what it means? It''s obviously a code for stewards, but no idea what situation warrants it
11.
An old Pinkun post on the same subjecthttp://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun/cs/forums/832776/PrintPost.aspx
How did you find a post from 2006?!?!
12. It feels like we tried sprinting a marathon. And now everyone has caught up with some overtaking us. Feel like its going to get worse before it gets better
13. At this rate, any player deserves a chance in the team to prove themselves.
14. Never knew Leeds fans had such a sense of humour!
15. Didn''t expect him to be one of the ones loaned out, but best of luck to him. Looks very promising from what i''ve seen
16. Don''t really understand what you mean on number 5. It should be easier for away fans to be loud at Carrow Road as its a tall away section (rather than a wide one e.g. Wolves, Villa) which i think makes it easier for away fans to sing all at once and make it louder. With wide ones, you tend to get mini groups in each section singer their own songs. Although most away fans have been very quiet here this season!
17. Wes being out of the side for a few weeks could end up being beneficial for the team AND Wes in my opinion.
18. Same here for me Camden. Grabban has become quite wasteful, and Laffs should be rewarded for his excellent form for Northern Ireland. I think the jury is still out on Hooiveld, could maybe replace him with Miquel when he''s ''match fit''.
19. Looks like our academy has never been in better condition. I''d love to see Morris, King, McFadden etc get a few chances in the first team. Maybe only from the bench while there''s no cup competition.
20. The NI manager said he was going to build the team around Lafferty, and since then they''ve won every game. And as said above, we have the players in Wes/Redmond/Murphy to feed him
21. Firstly, he''s a League 1 standard striker, so no. I''m guessing you''re asking whether his conviction should stop him from being taken on by the club. And on that basis, it''s a large no again.
22. Poor guy can''t get a break. Looked like he could do a job at Rotherham
23. A typically pointless question asked during international breaks, but I''ll ask it anyway. Adams has done incredibly well so far but there''s plenty of time for it all to change. Lambert was, as we all know, incredible for us in the championship but has stagnated at Villa (although they''ve been impressive this season). If you could have Lambert back in charge, with Adams or Culverhouse being assistant, would you take it?
24. I love how this thread just pops its head up every few weeks as a little reminder of what kind of players we were being linked with a few years ago.
25. I tried to get a small group of tickets in the barclay yesterday and actually struggled!! Most parts of the lower barclay are nearly sold out. Looks like its going to be a great crowd.
