  1. No. The transfer has just been confirmed by the ever-reliable Chris Reeve at TNC...
  2. Tyrone Mings is a first connection in my LinkedIn network; the next 'Tyrone Mings Academy' event is a charity golf day at The Belfry on Monday 29th May. They plan to buddy each team of 3 with a celeb / well-known person. I wonder if he plays golf with the same mentality he brings to football? 🙂
  3. 50% extra would equate to adding a further 45 mins to a full game!
  4. Replace 'Sanctimonious' with 'Emotionally Intelligent' and you'd be a lot more accurate @yellowrider120! The words you use in this post say far more about your personal beliefs than it does about those you're describing.
  5. Given Max Johnson from Motherwell is reported to have had a tour of NCFC, I wouldn't expect Bali Mumba to be shoehorned into the RB position. The club are looking to strengthen that position... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/norwich-city-trip-motherwell-star-30003068
  6. The interview with Chris Goreham was recorded yesterday wasn't it?
  7. Sorry, I'm with @Parma Ham's gone mouldy on this one. As someone who totally 'gets' NCFC & its culture, DF would be a glorious DoF appointment here.
  8. I believe we need defenders, defensive midfielders AND a top striker (not a 'just' another forward - a pure goal-scorer). Talking of forward players, I don't rate Idah or Sargent; both of those could easily be replaced.
  9. 'Distance Reiki' really is a thing. Having experienced it, the sheer accuracy of the written report that followed totally blew me away.
  10. I'd have a lot more faith if Norwich had a few 'up & at 'em' Ashley Barnes-type attitudes amongst the ranks. We need strong, technical players with a winning sense of purpose. Hopefully Norwich & Ipswich won't be shopping in the same recruitment marketplace...
  11. "Out of chaos comes order"... (Hopefully!).
  12. A mass walk-out on 22 minutes in recognition of The Goat's final game might get some serious media attention...
  13. That's the reality, however I'm unsure the current set-up at NCFC understand what a golden opportunity looks like...
  14. I've been assuming that MA is waiting for NCFC stock to hit a real low before maximising his potential investment. That would represent good business for him?
  15. Succession planning at NCFC appears to be non-existent in recent times. No professional business should operate like this; it looks as if the senior leadership team literally make it up as they go along...
  16. I am in total agreement with all this LDC - I love what DF brought to our club & so does my partner (that was the power of his reach - previously non-football people became positively engaged too). The era of instant gratification would render a Farke-type repeat almost impossible now. Such a shame, because the continuity thing is evident in Russ Martin.
  17. On Saturday Russ is likely to remind us of the entertaining possession-based style we once had! If so, it's going to be frustrating - and could easily get the home crowd booing our wasteful season. I'm not expecting a particularly pleasant atmosphere tbh...
  18. I'd love to see Daniel Farke back at Carrow Road. Would make a fabulous DoF - that man has presence & charisma...
  19. I'm assuming Norwich are out of it now - like LDC says, whoever wins their next 4 games have a chance, however based on our lack of consistent results it's very unlikely to be us. I'd be pleased for ex-NCFC man Dave Carolan at Millwall should they manage it though...
  20. 'Mind the Gap' jokes are looking a bit meek these days. Ipswich have created momentum whilst Norwich (unless an absolute miracle occurs) have not. Of course their supporter's tails are up; we'd be the same. I'm fully expecting them to join us in the Championship & safely finish mid-table in 2023/4. Right now, trying to gauge where Norwich are heading is a complete finger in the air job...
  21. Well I thought the performance against Rotherham was woeful. Nothing to get excited about whatsoever. Style-wise, not dissimilar to a confused Dean Smith side. The players appear to be far too comfortable playing with low levels of passion & belief. Looking at the recent performances of those around us, Luton have won 3, PNE have won 4 - and Boro, Millwall, Blackburn, Norwich, Coventry, Sunderland, WBA, Watford & Bristol City have only won 1 game each from their last 5! If we can't make enough effort to secure a few wins in a race this wide open, I despair...
  22. Totally agree; Idah, Sargent & Pukki don't complement each other in any way, shape or form! The wide players in the 3 need to be wingers or wing-backs or attacking midfielders who can create or score. Right now, NCFC are sterile; not scoring a goal in the last 3 home games is shambolic given the potential prize on offer.
