1. Definately agree with that, it seems there''s always one player a select group of people feel they need to moan about. Support the team!
 2. Luke Chambers & Matt Phillips. Chambers is out of contract in the summer so should be affordable & Blackpool arn''t exactly flush with cash, so Phillips shouldn''t be too expensive either. We need a holding midfielder too but this is the one area i''m unsure as to who the best option would be, Jimmy Abdou is one as mentioned above but I can''t really think of anyone who jumps at me as an obvious choice who we can afford.
 3. Makes no sense to sack AVB at the moment anyway, the group of players he''s inherited are coming to the end of their career''s. He''s got some good youngsters in Sturridge and Romeu, brought in Mata and Merieles too who until his sending off against Swansea actually saw Torres regain some resemblance of form. Whoever Chelsea get it won''t be a quick fix.
 4. For me Hoolahan is arguably our most talented player along with Pilks, however, call it old fashioned but i''d love to see Lambert go 4-4-2 with Brad Johnson & Fox as our central pairing then Bennett and Pilks bombing down the wings whipping in crosses for Holt and Morison. Flash? Probably not, Effective? Stats for us so far this season would suggest so in the sense we score most of our goals from headers.
 5. We''re so poor defensively it hurts. C''mon lads, today is must win!
 6.

lets have a bit of reality here. We are miles behind Spurs and we had no chance of going toe to toe with them, if we had we would have lost by 4 or 5 .It was dissapointing in the final 3rd with poor quailty to Holt and Morison but they just don''t let you play and you get little time on the ball with Modric and Parker dominating the midfield.
True, we had no chance of going toe to toe with Man Utd, Chesea and Liverpool. Oh wait a minute...... We were just poor today, no excuses, tactics were just wrong. I think we will bounce back though, under Lambert we always do.
So what tatics would you have employed to combat Spurs goal threat as well as trying to be a threat ourselves.
I would have got them to pust up alot more. Simples
You can''t play a high line and push up much when your playing Gareth Bale mate and when they have a player like Modric who can pick passes the way he does. Silly comment.
 7. Agree with you my man, Spurs are one of the two best sides in this division and we didn''t disgrace ourselves. If Surman''s freekick had gone in I think we''d have come away with a point in all honesty. These arn''t the games that will decide if we stay in this league for next season.
 8. * Talk about. Damn this site needs an edit button.
 9. Slow day on here then... Talking of trying to make mountain''s outta molehills.
 10. Couldn''t be more proud of the boys, great effort. Do feel that we need to bring in Pilks & Bennett against Spurs though. Their wide-men will have a field day against the 4 midfielders who started tonight.
 11.

I''d like to see Mario Mandzukic from Wolfsburg if Lambert is going to look at the Bundesliga, great all rould little striker who''s Croatian, would be great playing alongside one of Holt or Morison. Marco Reus would be my perfect choice but he''s starting to catch the eye of Bayern, the lad''s so quick.   If we''re going to keep playing R.Martin at Centre Half then Andreas Beck to come in as Right Back would be a good addition, Hoffenhiem captain and Mr Consistant.   In all honesty though for us to sign players that will improve our 1st 11 we''re going to be spending sums of money I don''t think we can afford.
Euhmmm Reus is valued at 30 million Euros by Borussia Mönchengladbach... sorry...
Read the last line of my post again, the bit that mentions spending sums of money I don''t think we can afford to actually bring them in.
 12. Spurs played in Blue when they won 5-1 against us in a friendly a couple years back.
 13. Didn''t set the world a light on his last loan deal with Sampdoria. They got relegated and he scored one goal in the Coppa Italia... Samp fans must have been distraught, they sold Cassano & Pazzini to Milan & Inter respectively and got him & Maccarone as replacements.

 15. I don''t think they particularly fear us, more that they view their own team are sh!te
 16. Gutted I can''t make it. Just been made an Assistant Manager at work, looking more and more likely i''m gonna have to give up my season ticket.
 17. Ruddy will be a great Keeper for us and should be stuck with IMO, that said, i''d be tempted to look at Carlo Cudicini at Spurs. Gomes and Friedel ahead of him and Redknapp rumored to be looking at another GK, would be great to have round Ruddy and Rudd.
 18. I urge anyone who thinks Chris Martin can''t cut it to look at the career of one Luca Toni. Dropped down a division to then Serie B side Palermo, after an average spell playing alongside Baggio at Brescia, and hit 50 goals in 80 games there guiding them back to Serie A after 30 years and hitting a record 30 goals in Serie B. Then hit 20 their first season back in the top flight to take Palermo into the Europa League. Got a move to Fiorentina and hit 30 goals in a top flight Italian season for the first time in 50 years. His record with the Viola stands at 47 goals in 67 games. Also won a World Cup in 06! Moved to Bayern Munich and left with a record of 38 goals in 60 games. He was 4 years older than Martin is now when he originally dropped down a division. Now obviously i''m not saying Chris Martin is capable of going onto to do half the things Lucagol acheived but to say "he''s 23 now, he''s not going to get much better" is unfair.
 19. A loan move would be good for all parties IMO.
 20.

GJP, ''then immediately replaced Zak Whitbread on his return to fitness.'' No he didn''t he played alongside Zak Whitbread....
No, he didn''t. He replaced Whitbread on his first game back.
What time of the season are we talking about here cos for a good chunk of the season and definately the last 4/5 months Ward and Zak were the 1st choice CB pairing.

 22.
Loads of Norwich and Ipswich fans get on at Diss so that will be a hot spot
It really won''t be mate, i''m from Diss & the town is split 50/50 down the middle so people simply have friendly banter. A good portion of my mates are all Ipswich fans.
 23.
Don''t forget Gareth Bale, the best player in the Premiership at the moment, IMHO.
Great player is Bale, although i''d give the best player title to David Silva
 24. How anyone can doubt Pilks crossing after his assist today is a little beyond me, far better than any ball Bennett put in all day.
