  1. Flounced down the tunnel or had just played the most competitive football he had for over 2 months and needed to get ice or a massage on aching muscles? He wasn't working as hard or as well as we all know he has on the past, but going down the tunnel straight after being subbed does not show a bad attitude
  2. Bit a red flag in those circumstances would have been outside the regulations as well, there was no safety reason for a red flag, which is what they are used for. Merc had made a tactical decision to not put twice, that is on them, the tyre disparity was of their making. The issue here is that either non of the cars should unlap themselves or all of them should (and that there should be a lap between that happening and the safety car coming in, but that is secondary in my opinion). Problem was he made the decision to let cars unlap themselves too late to actually have that happen and them to be clear enough to not hold up the leaders, hence he only let a few through, which is unprecedented and also against the regulations whilst effectively handing red bull the win
  3. Or alternatively behind the scenes the FIA and liberty media give Merc a really sweet deal to just accept it and move on. Non-public veto to any rule changes or something similar would probably make them agree that it was a fair ruling...
  4. My main problem with it is the inconsistency causing an uneven playing field. The not changing tyres (twice) was a tactical mistake/decision by Merc, but, by only allowing some of the cars through they were meaning that max could focus purely on attacking Lewis, had they let the others through then he would have also had sainz right behind him (also on fresh tyres?), Yes max was quicker than him, but anything can happen on a restart and that would have had an impact on max Vs Lewis.
  5. It's going to be fun when the packout PR matches come along. Looks like theyve actually done a decent job of getting tickets sold for them, when Sunderland thrash them that place is going to be toxic!
  6. Someone on there is claiming the fans are losing sight of their "wonderful history"... I know it's not nice to laugh at other people's delusions and suffering, but, then I look at tw@ted again and can't help myself
  7. But surely the intention is that if you put it behind a paywall you can do those things as you're no longer behoven to advertiser's. If you're not looking for maximum impressions then you just put out the interview as one article and you can spend that time researching things a bit more as you have less pressure to get loads of stories up just to generate clicks... Whether or not that's how it will pan out is anyone's guess though
  8. Now I'll look them up instead of trying to remember what MOTD showed, actually was 1.6 v 0.5 here https://experimental361.com/2021/11/28/premier-league-timelines-27-28-nov-2021/
  9. I think it was 1.3 for us, 0.25 for them... Something of that ilk anyway
  10. I think this shows the benefit of the new canary, imagine the old one projected like that...though I do still prefer the old one on the badge... Another point which may or may not have been mentioned is that this will be far easier to print onto shirts, which will be quicker, cheaper and hopefully means we won't get peeling transfers anymore...
  11. Yeah, that's odd, because I replied to that calling you a binner but that got deleted as well... Now Hank has stolen my thunder.
  12. And only 9 points above the relegation spots, oh to have wealthy owners like wot they do....
  13. Pretty much agree with Cambridge, there's something not quite right about that canary...
  14. Favourite player for.me would have to be Eadie, he was the first Norwich player that I had a poster of on my wall. There have been better players both before and since (though were it not for injuries after leaving us Eadie could have gone on to greatness), but he was my first...
  15. Not sure he's had enough time with all of the players yet to make a meaningful difference and we'll struggle with Southampton's quick attacks, but am optimistic for a point
  16. Sack off DCM and put in another winger, Fox (or eadie, but he was lw and is < Hucks), move EMI central with wessi so it doesn't get too crowded. Chippy might have his work cut out in the middle, but he can cope....
  17. Come on ged, you've been here long enough to know this by now, the owners are only responsible when things go wrong.
  18. I've posted this before, but, in the wiki list there are only two clubs with owners wealth listed less than us, Shrewsbury and Carlisle. There are a fair few unlisted, many of whom will have lower net worth, but some are definitely far more and it is Wikipedia so pinch of salt, but still... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_owners_of_English_football_clubs
  19. You've missed out option 3 there bud. Our model is actually ahead of the curve, the financial predicament that the majority of championship and below teams are in means that we are in a great position whenever we get relegated, we just need a couple of the 'established' teams to get relegated and not bounce straight back up and then they likely enter a death spiral back to mediocrity with us on prime position to take their long term place at the trough....
  20. Perhaps not from the start of the process but it is certainly possible that he became first choice as soon as he was available...
