1. Leeds might be mid-table but are only 2 points from 6th, so could in theory get in playoffs if they win. And Coventry are 4th, so it''s sort of a big game.
2. http://www.cardiffstadiumsuperstore.co.uk/product_list_cardiffcityfc.asp?si=1&se=6&ss=8&ra=36 seem to do it every game, seems a bit weird tbh!
3. Make that 5, 3-0 at Brizzle too. Shame about Doncaster!
4. I think what it is, is by having the netting the away section can be enlarged or reduced depending on the size. The Spurs one is fixed so when not many away fans turn up there is empty seats, whereas we can sell more home seats if the away allocation is small.
5. I guess, as they came so close in the end twice by cutting the deficit to one goal, they could say they were unlucky... And they nearly scored a 4th.
6. I remember him, seem to remember he scored some pathetic OG in a game once and I never liked him since. What about Des Hamilton and Gary Brady - who Hamilton signed on loan from Newcastle (Brady might have been from Spurs?) I believe? Also Jim Whitley and Ged Brannon who were from Man City? One I felt sorry for was Gaetano Giallanza I think he was class if it weren''t for his injuries.
7. He''s getting a more senior position than he has here. Gutted he''s leaving, very grateful for the attention and interest he has shown regarding the needs of disabled NCFC fans over the years. But of course I wish him all the best in the future.
8. Except when did Theo ever make a match winning save? I know he only played one game, but that was far far worse than anything of Ruddy this season, not even a comparison!
9. I''ve done 30 of the current ones, although have been to Layer Road, MK Hockey Stadium etc which ain''t used for footy anymore... Also have been to others for tours and gigs etc.
10. The impression I got is that it is just for 1 game, like remember years ago we had some games with kids for a quid? It''s to try and get more people to come.
11. I agree. But to be fair to Holt I still don''t think he looks fit.
12.
If this happens its another nail in football s coffin for me. At the risk of sounding like Delia whats the point in trying to compete. We try and do things the right way and all we end up doing is putting ourselves at a disadvantage. Cardiff meanwhile p**s money up the wall, get a new stadium for basically nothing, are nearly bankrupt and then can bring in one of the top players in the country on loan just because Man City with their millions can afford not to sell him to a rival prem team. Meanwhile tinpot Blackburn Rovers (who have about as much potential as my a**e) are being taken over and have £100m to spend on players. What the f**k is the point?
Couldn''t agree more, really gets on my tits. I''d much rather we did things the way we do but it really does stink that those that don''t do things properly seemingly get away with it.
13. I was thinking someone like him is just what we need. The midfield weren''t too bad yesterday but I felt lacked a bit of "bite". Don''t think Russell would have been the answer because he is not the greatest technically. So an ex-Premiership player like Savage would be excellent. Can''t see it though - maybe Lambert should come out of retirement :-)
14. They do - it''s just at the checkout now and not a separate bit.
15.
its definately put me off i''m a regular casual and did 17 games last year but if £31 is going to be the norm i won''t be going to as many .. at the end of the day its division 2 football and £31 is outrageous [:@]
If you did 17, why didn''t you get a season ticket last or this season? Even if you miss 6 games it''s prob cheaper!
16. In the car - 2 miles, taking 9min. Walking - 1.6 miles, taking 32min.
17. Doesn''t it make you sick? That they''ve got away almost scot free with nearly going bankrupt. They were always going to get relegated last season before administration, so the points deduction was pretty much meaningless. And they''ve got to keep their squad with their big names... Stinks.
18. RIP Roy, a true gent who I had the pleasure of meeting several times over the years. Big loss to the county of Norfolk.
19. Yeah I think so. Remember them playing some Champions League games at the old Wembley for that reason before it closed. BTW, don''t think there''s any regulation about how far below the pitch seats can be, I was at West Ham once and the pitch was about neck height!
20. Yes I thought it was him too and was thinking the same. That hairstyle is instantly recognisable!
