Millwall away pub to meet
spencer 1970 replied to PaulineFowler's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Agreed. London Bridge area pubs are best although i'd stay away from the ones in the station as a lot of Kent/SEL Millwall fans have to go via LB too. Bermondsey street is a great call if you want to get away from it...my tip would be the Woolpack, it has a nice beer garden if the weather stays as it is. -
Audrick Kramer - Steven Naismith's agent?
spencer 1970 replied to BaltimoreBird's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yeah, our front 5 or 6 have been appalling of late, bring back Nais' for any of them...take your pick. I'm definitely sold, we've looked static without him. -
Maybe Preston fans were outside our Hotel on Tuesday night complete with Batucada drums a la Brasil '70 and we are trying to throw the scent off Bolton Wanderers doing the same. My tangential theory could explain our first half last night too. Athankyu Sherlock '70 🕵️♀️

Player of the Season - advice required
spencer 1970 replied to Fuzzar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yep, I'm with Orly on Pukki, Aarons, & Emi but it hasn't been as close with so many potential and deserved winners for years...maybe since Lee "Messi" Croft won it. -
...and this is the reason most people get controlled by media and their knack of not telling the full story to generate a bigger reaction. Sheep. baaaa! I'm no fan of Savage but get a grip people FFS!

I can't lie, Krul worries me a bit for many many reasons. IF(?) we reach the big time next season I thinks that's a position we'd need to strengthen. The 3rd choice keeper at So'ton looks like he needs a move, and I'd welcome him back. I'd obviously love to have their 2nd choice keeper back but can't see that happening.

Ouch! ‘They are not Barcelona’ - Krul

Yep, they both signed in Jan 2016 so they could have "previous". -

https://www.11v11.com/teams/norwich-city/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Ipswich Town/ The thing I'm most gutted about is even if we beat them they still have a better head to head than us. Damn those pesky Texaco & Simod cups! -
...to Bolton. I wish him all the best (again). https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17369586.embargo-boost-as-bolton-sign-norwich-keeper-remi-matthews/

I popped down to Colney today...looks like recent events have brought on some structural changes.

8/12; a few right guesses, a few wrong guesses. I'll take an away point like tomorrow please.

Indeed. A Norwich lad moving to London as a kid was daunting but Charlton were a friendly bunch, Paul Walsh had a lot to do with it too. Not so much the blue lot just up the Thames. That first game was an awakening. 😅

I got 7 of those. Bravo Crafty. As a teenager I stood on a milk crate at the centre spot at no'1 surrounded by shoulder high thistles. Amazing how a big club can fall, rise, then fall again. If only we hand cameras on us 24/7 in those days.

Farke among NCFC managers - a snapshot
spencer 1970 replied to GenerationA47's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We had a wonder-kid last year who was way above the rest so the opposition just had to stop him and his passes*...we're a complete team now and the magic comes from all over the pitch. Add a few player improvements from youth and overseas and its all helped. Farke and Co' have done very well. *I think this is why he had so many long range shots as most of his pass paths were already covered/blocked.- 4 replies

Interesting Promotion pointers after 20 games
spencer 1970 replied to ricardo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It all looks great but 9 pretty tough games after Bolton, followed by an nailed on win against someone. -

Brilliant "24"...does this mean is Felix Passlack?

Buen dia translates as good day in Spanish. buenas tardes ''70

Scored last night as well. Who link up well with Srbeny.

Gunn had no chance on the pens, but we don''t have a great record on keepers saving them. From memory I seem to remember Green not saving one in his time here and only Forster being fairly successful (maybe 3rd tier pan takers to thank)...before that, Woods (possibly) or maybe even Keelan. Am I right?
