  1. not worried at all - i dont want the club to overspend in the market because i dont want to end up like Derby, Bradford, Ipswich, Leicester to name but a few. Over spending didnt help these teams. If we push it financially and end up in administration, the ten pint penalty comes in at the start of next season which will make it even harder.
  2. I thought you had to play in a minimum number of games (10?) to get a medal.
  3. what a bunch of amatuers at talk sport - they really get on my nerves
  4. this is probably going to be more of an issue next season. i do not want to see away supporters in among canary fans next season - it will mean that season ticket holders or members have sold on their tickets. i want to see the club take action against these supporters (ie the ones selling tickets to away fans not necessarily those are lent to friends for free). however, if any one wants to see a ticket at more than face value, can i suggest that they are directed towards Ebay and not use this as an auction site.
  5. get yourself an away season ticket. guarantees you an away ticket for each match.
  6. superb article - quality journalism. god help us the day we pay £22k a week to some uninterested mercenary.
  7. hiya -earlier today sky said norwich were 4/9 favourites to go down. your best bet would be to lay these odds on betfair (betting exhange) when a market is formed.
  8. i dreamt all about delia last night - she was doin lots of cooking for me. not sure what it means but hey - who cares. thanks delia, thanks michael and thanks worthy and all the boys in yellow. here''s looking forward to loads more great dreams and being positive for next season.
  9. anyone got a big stupid grin on their chops this morning? and who enjoyed hooting their horn last night round the ground? what fun - let''s enjoy it. hope to see lots of yellow shirts in the city today :D
  10. I just want to be sure of promotion - i dont care how it''s done - as worthy says lets concentrate on us - we need 2 points for certainty or one point assuming our goal difference holds up. if we do it tonight by default then i will be celebrating for sure, and again on saturday and again at the preston, sunderland and crewe games.
  11. the key thing for us next year (as it has this year) is not conceeding goals - just look at Ipswich/Wolves. Our current defensive structure will need to be strengthened first IMHO - once we get that right we can look at other areas if they are not working. Worthington is an ex-defender - dont be surprised to see him concentrate his efforts there.
  12. malky and holt have made the squad well done lads - well deserved
  13. yes it''s on live - see the report on the pinkun web site come listen to it at the ground though after the reserves match.
  14. i win £250 if we win the title and it should have been more but i bottled it and laid a lot of it off. the up side is i win £150 if W Brom win :)
  15. bradford - home reading - away stoke - away forest - home Hmmm - have faith in the boys i reckon
  16. that is a TOP idea - how cool. really jealous u going and going in style as well. have a great day.
  17. knowing where to sit in the ground is a nightmare. when i bought my first season tickets i went for the family enclose in the river end cos i was taking my three girls with me. i knew it would probably be ok there in terms of abuse. when a couple of them stopped going i considered moving over to the Barclay (and for personal preference i would have done). but i had a good opportunity of some decent tickets in the middle of the lower river end. But it''s deadly. Dont think i ever seen a drunk and very little swearing. even out of the family area. i now got no chance of moving even if i want to. what point am i making? not a clue. we always gonna have plebs at the ground. so far thesedays i have avoided them although our nickname for the woman behind us in the family enc was sweary mary (at an away game last year my 9 year old girl asked me why that man want to do that thing to that other man''s mother - referring to an interesting chant at the opposition fans). Is no fun being abused especially when there are kids there and it should be non tolerance like racisim. ramble over.
  18. it makes me so angry. grrr i got really frustrated earlier today on the BBC 606 board when some ******* was going on about all the empty seats at carrow rd on saturday. apparently there was some picture in The Sun today showing empty seats. he just wouldnt accept that we had sold out and the picture according to him told the exact truth. i didnt see the pic so couldnt really comment on it apart from pointing out that the match had ben sold out for weeks.
  19. yes i am definatley going on wednesday (I too thought about going down to selhurst park but it''s such a dump). be good to get out of the river end for once.
  20. west brom v stoke - it''s unreal isnt it. why???? the programme planners at sky never cease to amaze me. clearly they havnt realised how boring the baggies are.
  21. so a ticket to see the arsenal/man u is worth £150? there are some sad people out there. to anyone thinking of paying £300 to go to watford next week, forget it. pay £9 to see the beam back - not exactly the same but the party atmosphere will be there nevertheless and i reckon we''ll have a lot of fun.
  22. apparently, according to the old codgers behind me, he''s still doing nuthin but there you go. Sven is a good honest player and says himself he is nowhere near fit enough yet. He can only get better for us in my opinion.
  23. it certainly did say that. makes a change from the beach balls. i think the stewards confiscated it at one stage.
  24. was thinking that very same thing yesterday. i wonder if connolly regrets his decision. in hindsight i''m pleased he didnt come - he looks like a right twit.
