1.
It does seem a shame that we are only £500,000 better off for being in the Premiership.
Well we also had great fun getting there, and being there. So it has left us all with a stock of wonderful memories at least. And if you want something more ''concrete'', it gave us the infill stand which would not have been built in anything like the present form if we hadn''t got to the Prem. And who''s to say we won''t do it all over again?
 2.
It really begs the question yet again: With so little funds why did we spend 3.5 million on Rob Earnshaw?  A better manager could have invested the money far more wisely?  Lets hope we and erny stay injury free I guess.
Oh shut up. Moan moan moan.
 3. Nigel and Delia are both grateful to you for putting them back on the right track.
 4.

I think if you look at most team''s squad photos they do the very same thing.
There can no longer be any room for doubt that this arrangement of black players is intentional, and it bothers me because it''s likely to end with Norwich City being held up to ridicule and scorn. And I don''t want that.
we live in a world where colour and creed and coexist without scrutiny.
Exactly. So why do Norwich City pick out their black players and arrange them into pretty patterns?
 5.
I think if you look at most team''s squad photos they do the very same thing.
No they absolutely do not. I checked quite a few team photos of other clubs last year, and none of them arrange their black players symmetrically. This is the third year running (to my certain knowledge) that black players have been arranged in this way in the Norwich team photo. It may have been going on longer than that, but 2004 was when I first became aware. There can no longer be any room for doubt that this arrangement of black players is intentional, and it bothers me because it''s likely to end with Norwich City being held up to ridicule and scorn. And I don''t want that.
 6.                 Flybe to the moon, and let me play among the stars...
 7. Those shorts seem so long now, you can hardly even see their knees! I predict a reaction in the next couple of years, back to the hotpants of the 1980s...
 8. Sheepshanks says "He blew our socks off".       Well - I''ve heard of the casting couch, but this is something quite new....
 9.
Am I the only one who is constantly amazed at the spin dressed as info that comes out of carrow road these days. Any transfer "news" has basically no value to the fan. Its basically a way for the club to "use" the media to let other clubs/agents know that they won`t pay their prices. As we speak we currently have one signed fit goalkeeper on our squad who has exactly zero first team experience. Hands up who thinks we will be scrambling around at the last minute brining in loan players and others who are not in demand by other clubs? The idea of pre-season matches is to get the new players playing together as a team On another note what happened to the first team coach they had lined up? or was that just more spin to placate the fans during season ticket renewal.
Let''s get one thing straight - everybody in the world, and every organisation in the world, uses ''spin'' all the time. We all use spin every time we post on this board. Journalists are spin-meisters. Spin is the norm. So it''s quite perverse to complain about one isolated instance. Get over it!
 10.
Its the weekend , the sun is going to shine .  I just  may  take a trip to Cantley wearing a  Norwich City  base ball cap to see if they are at home....or i may say bugger the baseball cap and Cantley ,to go to the pub on the pull  . yes yes please.
Charming! Bugger you too!
 11.
They were the days that started our fame as a footballing side to be the envy of many.Martin Peters leading the way for us to pick up other stars only too glad to sign for us .If he was available in todays transfer market,we would not be in the hunt and he would''nt come anyway. The fee being in millions and our style of football making us a laughing stock. We are like the Northpole ,everyone knows where it is but very few people want to go there. We are certainly Worthless in more ways than one.Years of hard work destroyed by one mans ego trip and an inept board ,who''s main concerns are corner infills and catering.
Here''s a definition for you, Streaky: obsessive Not being able to think about anything else. Having one thought or pursuing one activity to the absolute or nearly absolute exclusion of all others. Look at yourself, Streaky, you can''t even write a post about Martin Peters without finding yourself obsessing about Nigel Worthington. Get a grip, man.   As a matter of fact, I believe Peters only came to us because of our West Ham connection, John Bond and Ken Brown having been team-mates.
 12. I find the spectacle of Worthy-outers earnestly debating whether we can hold onto Earnshaw utterly risible. As though the man just materialised one morning and started playing for us. Earnshaw is arguably the best goalscorer in the Championship. So - either a lot of Championship teams wanted him, and he chose to come to City, or (more likely) Worthy saw something in him nobody else did. Either way, getting Earnshaw was a heck of a coup. And how much credit has Worthy been given for this?    Sweet FA.     Why am I not surprised?
 13.
he should of got treatment
Should of got treatment? What do you mean? The only one who needs treatment is you - for your overwhelming cynicism.
 14.
Get real out there - England would of done exactly the same! Belarus are a small footballing nation, and for them to beat England, even in ''b'' variety, is a major plus for them. They may never get the chance again, so I think this match should be taken in context - friendly or not.
That should be "would have done". And no, I don''t think they would have. But if they had done, no doubt you would have joined the queue to condemn them for it. Anyway, even from the point of view of naked self interest, what''s the point of winning a match with such a seedy goal? That''s no victory worth having.
