1. It''s on the official site we''ve signed him
2. It certiainly wasn''t a dodgy penalty - the guy basically punched it. Having said that, Riley is an embarrassment.
3.
Gazza - If dicky doesnt respond then I would be interested, PM me if you so wish.
Please PM me too - Norwich will not get relegated.
4.
No iffs or buts, relegation is certain.
Please feel free to put your money where you mouth is and visit Betfair. Please?
5. the big man will be on the sofa this morning
6. just heard the same thing on sky sports news
7. AJ - keet - it was a soccer am "joke" - oirish for keith...
8. anyone see him in his new job on soccer am this morning? ever the cheeky oirishman
9. it was reported on sky that worthy was still waiting for international clearance to play him. they didn''t go into details as to what that meant.
10. yep - just found exactly the same thing. i dont have access to radio norfolk at the moment so i decided to tune in on canaries world. great of them to advertise this on the official site and then not deliver. no doubt not the clubs fault though.
11. i''m surprised they seem to be spending loads on unproven top class players. we all know that spending does not buy you survival - Ipswich, Bradford, Leeds are the ones we always mention but I was surprised to hear this morning on the premiership years on sky that Sunderland spent £20m two seasons ago when they went down.
12. last season i was getting really worried about him not only trying to fit in every cliche in the book into every interview, know what i mean, but also looking to the side every few moments a la Harry Rednapp. At the moment he looks very relaxed and assured. Maybe that will change a few games into the season.
13. Just seen Worthy interviewed on Sky. Is it just me or does he seem more at ease thesedays in front of camera? In the last two interviews he hasn''t said "know what i mean" or used any football cliche once. Is this the end to our very own football cliche man?
14. yes i saw it too - some friends of my daughters were there and i said look there they are with the canary but she said no they wouldn''t be so sad :(
15. i''ve signed up - helveg franics and bentley - helveg is a sub. i''ll wait to see how we do before putting a norwich player in at the back although i''m getting more confident that they will be able to do a good job at the back.
16. never ever rely on the post especially if it''s coming from carrow road. ever.
17. it''s all very well saying you want 4/5m to spend on players but what about the money for wages? I think I read somewhere that Charlton''s average wage is 9k a week. You want a squad of around 25. That works out at wages costs of £11.5m a year. I''m with DDiM - i would rather not overstretch ourselves this year and I am relying on Worthy to spend wisely.
18. palace at home first game now turns into a must win when you look at the next six games. four games in nine days over christmas doesn''t look to easy either - could be the make or break period for us. 3 home games in our last five - couldn''t ask for more than that.
19. most of the balls that are thrown on the pitch are from the crowd when the ballboy has already thrown a ball back on.
20. depends what the odds are. i''d be looking for a minimum of 5/2. My guess is that they will offer 6/4 if at all. prob best to wait until the market is up on the betting exchanges.
21. i think he''s on silly money at leeds so no wonder he''d be happy to play for them for another season even if it is in "the championship". if he does move he''ll have to take a massive cut in wages wherever he goes - no one will pay him what he''s on at leeds. he''s the sort of player we need, experienced and tough but only at the right price.
22. he was undergoing counselling for a gambling problem (pink un a couple of months ago) - now that is unusual - a footballer who likes a bet. i hope he''s sorted now - nice bloke.
23. don''t think most of the people in the river end have legs - they begrudge standing at any point in the game. unfortnately appears there is no chance for me to change ends this time round. there are some positives being in the river end, most of which escape me but we do seem to score more goals there and kick towards it in the second half which i like.
24. not sure many bookies are offering odds to avoid relegation - most of them are offering odds on getting relegated instead and currently norwich are around 8/15 to go down. if they were on offer you might get 6/4 to stay up. however prices will appear on the betting exchanges soon on the relegation market so you can lay the odds rather than backing them and you will get a better price than the bookies.
25. nothing yet - seems to me the marketing dept have missed a trick again - if they''d got the order forms out when the shirt was launched people would have got their orders in. a couple of weeks later now and they''ve lost the momentum.
