  1. I thought it was only Coventry, again could be wrong. I know it didn't go down well
  2. Can't remember them being housed in the upper Barclay. Coventry were once but it didn't work out very well if I recall .
  3. For a PL season, 35k at the start and 3.5k at the finish would be my guess
  4. Just had to look that up as I had forgotten. Actually quite a sad story for such a talented and somewhat iconic player. Despite who he turned out for
  5. There is not a cat in hells chance we will beat them this weekend. I'm not sure we will register that many shots on goal even. And i'm usually a Percy positive
  6. I clearly remember Reeves going, very sad day. If that type of crowd had been around these days there would be a need for a cavalry charge down Carrow rd just to quieten down the natives with what's been going on this season.
  7. Great story. Hope he sees a better season soon
  8. Indeed it does. Supply and demand. The size of our ground means season tickets will probably always sell out in the champs or PL now and that leaves a scramble for the remaining few. Add a few more thousand seats in and I suspect the attendance would drop like a stone considering our utter pathetic performances this season.
  9. I recall Adrian Durrant (talk sport) saying that we wouldn't win another game when operation re-start commenced in 2020 ( with 7-10 games to go?). He was right of course and I can see the same patterns with this team. Another three losses before the season ends I feel
  10. My thoughts as well. Can't really believe he was 'followed' home, probably just a coincidence.
  11. Why thank you very much for comments and approval. May I humbly point out you had a spelling mistake in your sentence?
  12. I was at the game and watched him quite closely. I would say he was our best player today, hardly put a pass wrong and was calm under pressure. Very, very unlucky with the penalty At half time I posed the question to a few friends also at the game and they all felt he was our top performer. I accept the standard was not set too high. Rupp looked good when he came on as well
  13. Last time in the PL we started the campaign with only 3 fit CBs and soon ran out of them. Our defence was decimated from the start and AT was at the end of his career with us. An AT 'type' character who continually help to steady the ship and provide some steel is something we are missing, not AT himself. You are right about it not being that simple, I'm certainly not suggesting it is. Men against boys
  14. Correct 100% agree. We lack it as a team and the rest of the league know it, hence we are bullied out of games very early on.
  15. That's the issue there in a sentence. Two untried young teenagers and an un tested forward/winger/midfielder/? From the start of this season we have seen virtually every team other than the supremely skilful ones, dominate us on the pitch and we have yet again done sod all to deal with this. I'm specifically thinking of having a proven Tetey type character to win the odd tackle and provide a robust cover when we are under pressure. Normann for example, was targeted yesterday purely because he alone tried to put himself about a bit yet when you look at Newcastle/Crystal palace and numerous team like them in this league, they have a balance. Not a teenage trio of untested talent.
  16. At the end of the last campaign it was widely accepted that to go with our more skilful players we needed a raft of players with a bit more physicality about them. Today, we are losing and being bullied off the ball and winning zero in attack or defence when the crosses come in. Three subs are made and we bring on 3 players who offer nothing physically challenging to Newcastle and just allowed them to fully control the game. Bizarre
  17. Come on city. Two minutes left to forced a deserved draw, but we've lost that impetus, that's for certain.
  18. Personally I think it will be close. 0-0 half time then a single goal in it
  19. Shame, I hoped they would survive. S****horpe, an excellent club and a credit to the footballing world.
  20. Where are you moving from Jaberry? Personally, I feel if you are moving south of Dereham it gives you a short journey to Wymondham which is also very nice. Not being a native to Norfolk though, having lived here for most of my life, off and on, I can say without fear of contradiction that this is a superb county to live in and there are some places which are absolute gems. Good luck
  21. Someone must be waiting in the wings to take over......................Frank Lampard?
  22. Good on them I say. Certainly don't hate them at all. Bit of a breath of fresh air and wish we could have matched them results wise this season
  23. If the first team sheet back in the championship has a Hanley/Gibson centre back pairing and you know who still in midfield, we will probably win the league again
  24. Norwich City have a 1pc chance of staying in the Premier League, according to one football think tank. FiveThirtyEight's latest statistical modelling paints a gloomy picture with Dean Smith and his squad heading back to the Championship. It hardly needs the number crunchers to tell any City fan what they have seen unfold this season is a continuation of a depressing theme from the last time they were in amongst the high rollers. Albeit the predicted 24 point finishing haul in that analysis would be three more than the abject offering in the 'Project Restart' period under Daniel Farke. Are they right? How many points do you see City harvesting from the final nine league games that start with a trip to Brighton on April 2?
  25. I like it. Question 2: Where do you see yourself in 5 games time? Question 3: If 3 people were waiting for a kidney transplant and one became available, pick from these 3 who would receive it and why.........
