nutty nigel 7,534 Posted December 10, 2014 Welcome PUPs toweek nineteen of our Rays Funds season. This week we are on a hat-trick aftertwo great wins orchestrated by Inchy and Twidio. And as luck would have it wehave the perfect PUP to get us that elusive third consecutive win with MandieMoo’s Mear Kat in charge and making the final selections. Nigel has had threeprevious attempts in the hot seat and each one has resulted in really unlucky5/6s. With picking like that a winning week has to be on the cards so let’shope the football Gods stay with us for another week so that our MearKat get’sthe win he deserves. Of course MMMK is already proudly on Ray’s signature afterselecting correctly both Norwich goal scorers last April against Liverpool.Winning on the match bet last season with positive picks took some doing so towin twice on the same week was probably the result of our match bet season! You PUPs have been in cracking form the last few weeks. So let''s give Nigel our very best selectionfrom the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend and listed on the WilliamHill or Bet365 web site. For the match bet this week I’mpleased to say Cityangel is making the final selections. I’m really glad Dianeis back with us this season. And she’s back in fine form too picking decentwinners that usually give the PUP in the hot seat a different option. We canall help Cityangel be successful with our best suggestions for our match at hometo Huddersfield on Saturday. We have £6to spend Diane, so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPssuggestions or of your own. I can’t believethat another year is nearly over and I’m sorting out the rota for January 2015!This is how it looks provisionally so please let me know if the dates oursuitable. As things stand there’s no Norwich bet for the FA Cup weeks becausewe will have no idea in advance what the team will be. Maybe I’ll review thatagain if we beat Preston on Jan 3rd. Final Six Rota: - Jan 3rd GMFJan 10th Cosmic TwinJan 17th Statto28Jan 24th ChellecityJan 31st First Wazzock And for theNorwich Match Bet : - Jan 10th Jim Smith - ConfirmedJan 17th Jas The Barclay King – ConfirmedJan 31st Feedthewolf So now I’llhand this week’s thread over to Mandie Moo’s Mear Kat and Cityangel. Rememberthere’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help youto success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for theCommunity Sports Foundation. Good luck allyou PUPs... Take it away Nigel and Diane ... the thread is yours.......[:)]...... Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted December 10, 2014 Good evening PUPs!First and foremost, it would be my pleasure and privilege to take on responsibility for the Norwich match bet on January 31st - many thanks for the opportunity, Nigel! My selection this week is Real Madrid to win away at Almeria. Almeria are yet to win at home, and I can''t see them preventing Real from notching a remarkable 20th straight win in all competitions. Home advantage shouldn''t make any difference to the struggling hosts, and as such 2/11 is excellent odds (albeit about as short as you''ll ever see on an away side to win a league match!). Real are 6-0-1 away from home, scoring 27 goals in the process - more than they''ve managed at the Bernabeu in the same number of games. For the match bet, I feel Adams will have to adopt a more attacking formation than he opted for at Wigan, with Redmond pretty much certain to start in a formation that will look to take the game to Huddersfield. With you-know-who leading the line, though, the script is written for a goalscoring comeback! Given our defensive frailties at home and Huddersfield''s leaky defence (only Fulham have conceded more), I think the right call is Norwich to win and both teams to score. The very best of luck to all PUPs, and indeed to the Canaries, this weekend! SwindonCanary 455 Posted December 10, 2014 Chelsea to beat Hull And, as it worked last week, I don''t think I''ll do a Norwich bet.
stewfil 10 Posted December 11, 2014 Wanted to go for manU v Liverpool but as the game starts at 130 on Sunday, pub teams don''t play at that time so I will go for Chelsea home winOf course Norwich home win

Mr Apples 1,320 Posted December 11, 2014 Hi all I''ll go for Hearts to beat Cowdenbeath (Hearts away win). For the match bet I think we''re going to smash Huddersfield so its a Norwich win, over 4.5 goals. Best wishes and happy hunting! Apples
Jellytot 42 Posted December 11, 2014 Good luck MMMK and all pupsMy pick this week is Burton to beat bottom of the table Hartlepool [:D]
nutty nigel 7,534 Posted December 11, 2014 Off to Spain this week where Valencia are at home to Rayo Vallecano. Valencia beat these away in the Copa Del Ray last week. They are really strong at home in the league W5 D1 L1 F15 A4. Should be a home win with Valencia chasing 4th place. Valencia v Rayo Vallecano Home Win For the Norwich bet I have to suggest an outcome that would make me and I think most Norwich fans extremely happy. It''s what''s called an anytime reverse wincast with Bill Hill where Grant Holt to score anytime with Norwich winning the game is 7/1.
AJ 1,219 Posted December 11, 2014 Bristol City vs Crawley home win please. Yup vs a side that have drawn their last 5.I second Nuttys suggestion of Holt to score Norwich to win. It''s inevitable he''ll be fired up!
