I see you promoting mental health on one thread and how we should look out for each other.  And then on a different thread trying to isolate someone you don't align with, or worse, flat out telling them that everyone hates them as you have in the past.

Thankyou, i dont take it remotely seriously , i just try to Mirror his ridiculous campaign with my own . if im busy, i dont give him a second thought, but when sat with a coffee, i'll think ' wonder what the whingeing gollum is up to today?'.....i know the answer of course, as hes as predictable as ever, mistakes, misquotes, etc etc....it never changes. 

Right now i'm interested in expedition quality rooftop tents. so far, South African, through Dutch Agents, seem the best value.

He isolates himself, and exists to try and spread misery on a forum that I otherwise very much enjoy. I've tried to engage with Kevin in many different ways, including trying to reason with him and encourage him to get help and seek more enjoyable and positive experiences.

He is single-handedly destroying this forum, and the only way to stop it happening is to stop replying to him. I'm just trying to do what's best for the forum. He's the problem here, not me.

You're absolutely right that my telling him that everyone hates him is not a good look, and I acknowledged that at the time when someone (possibly you?) called me out on it. As such, I'm trying my very best not to do that any more, but when so many otherwise positive and informative threads get choked up with his constant moaning, it's very difficult to avoid it!

The alternative is just not posting on here at all, as I've done in the past for extended periods, but frankly I'm not prepared to allow him to win. By all means call me out if I start getting personal again, as that's not me, but I don't see anything wrong in trying to appeal to people's better nature and encourage them not to give Kevin the oxygen he so desperately craves.

Watched him , cheers, gday!!!  took some of his recommendations in Thailand last winter, need someting a little more robust than tentbox, actual canvas rather than nylon.

.Ha Ha if youre a mate of Seans then i'd say you might be a bit of a case yourself!!

Have a Honda CRV so can go a little heavier than you would on a  Fiesta, anyway , its rapidly approaching 11 thirsty, so better do summat constructive.

We all must do what we feel is right, unfortunately , this extends to old Kev too. Its the price of freedom (sounds dramatic but you get my drift). We all have different skills, my early life was , you could say, quite robust training, so a pr@ like him is a mere disraction now and again, when i feel like it, He doesnt get to me , i dont try to prove him wrong, he does that himself regularly enough. Gain satisfaction that you are not like him, it must be horrible, feeling that way about.....a footy club ffs!!!!!

Yeah, I mean it's an internet forum after all, I know it can never be a completely wholesome and productive environment. If he wants to carry on being the forum's punchbag for the rest of his days, that's on him. Best I can do is just ignore him and try to keep posting productively and humorously.

Here's an idea , how about every time he posts , we all donate a few bob to a fund for Zoe, thereby bumping up her pay packet a little, he'd hate that. Wouldnt  have to be much , shes doing ok id say , much to his aparent mysoginist fury.

Here's a better idea. How about every time he posts, we all repeat a little mantra to ourselves (something like "I am a force for good on this forum" perhaps) and then just ignore the post? You do you, of course, but you'd definitely be helping the greater good!

No-one wants that, but you also need to appreciate that many do find it quite light hearted fun as we don't have a dog in this fight.

If he wants to bring opinions and raise debates he has as much right as any of us, if you choose to engage in the debate and still disagree, then what's the issue?  You can't change people's minds to match yours, and that's a big problem with modern society and why there's so much hate and division.

Being accepting of people includes those who you find the most challenging, that's where the win is.. You're only losing when following someone with a vendetta.

I feel really bad posting this as you're likely a far nicer guy than me, with stronger morals so who am I to preach.
