Twist now,

He done a good job getting us there, but it's time to get knappers man in and overhaul that squad

We will need to bring through a good 3, 4, 5 kids next year.

Wagner couldn't even bring himself to give Kellen Fisher a little last game of the season confidence boost by giving him 10 minutes on Sky in front of millions in a lost game. A manager who is skilled at progressing young players would have.

We can't trust him with Tomkinson, Kamara, Shipley, etc next season.

And for that reason "I'm out"

Ridiculous thread.

He's a Sunday league level coach.

Bryan Hamilton had more tactical nous.

Dean Smith is a better manager.

Wagner should be nowhere a professional football club ever again.

All the best.

Big Keith Scott.

I think the situation with Webber and Knapper was the only thing that kept him in a job. I said at the time that we showed far more faith towards Wagner (with no credit in the bank) during a losing streak than we did Farke, who should have had oodles.

I still think the manner in which we sacked Farke was one of the ugliest in my living memory as a supporter and he derserved far better.

I do hope he triumphs at Wembley.

I think today should mark the true end to the Webber era.

This was his manager. His players.

Time to reset and move on.

I'm pretty sure Knapper will twist.

He will surely (I hope) have arrived with an idea of the system he wants to put in place and so I would expect he will want a selected manager to implement that over the longer term. All considering Wagner did well to steer us to the playoffs but to have any chance of sustained success I think we need to build something. The squad needs an overhaul and given the end of the parachute payments we will have to fund that with player sales, so developing talent will be key.

Needs to go for his own good I think, he done a wonderful job of turning things round after the issues with Smith.  But tonight demonstrated all the negatives that he's failed to get on top of throughout the season.

I really like the guy, but not a fan of how he sets teams up now - I thought he was going to deliver a high intensity aggressive team who works the press and hunts in packs, but we're so far from that.

Wagner just said in interview that he has already been planning next season…oh dear looks like stick from the board. Unsurprising but not good news

Twist (and hit him with a stick).

More violent **** from a poster rapidly showing he's not capable of mature, rationale thought.

He smoothed things over with the fans after the Smith debacle but isn’t a good enough manager to be kept in the job.

We need an immediate response and a new manager in by June.

That was clearly a joke. Maybe I should have done a 😉 to show it.

I'm also not entirely sure about 'more violent ****'. Stuff regarding not being a drink driving enjoyer? Yes, if you're planning on drink driving you shouldn't and you still want to you should just kill yourself. Better than risking killing others.

It sounds a bit extreme when you say it but when you drink drive you're getting into a 2000kg weapon without the ability to properly control it. It's better for the world (mostly the people around them)  if those people just top themselves.

Same for some other crimes. If you're planning on raping somebody, don't do it, kill yourself. If you're planning on murdering somebody, don't, slash those wrists. Make the world a better place.

I don't know if we on here are representative of the fans in general, but 95% is still a huge figure, so I doubt it's 50-50 out there.

I think Wagner has to go. Keeping a head coach who so many fans don't want will immediately re-create the 'disconnect' when everyone needs to get behind a new start.

I like Wagner as a person but it is time for him to move on.

I voted Twist.
