I guess we're going to try to be solid and pick them off on the break, which isn't the worst strategy today - or in an away leg of a play off semi final, should we get there... Sorenson works hard though, reliable etc. Not a bad lineup at all imo.

Feedthewolf 4,959 Posted May 4 No Fasi in the squad, maybe he's picked up a knock or come down with illness? The club were clearly expecting him to be involved judging by this tweet from a few hours ago: https://twitter.com/NorwichCityFC/status/1786641910050046159/

(h/t @Feedthewolf) Hopefully nothing too serious with Fass. Assuming we make the playoffs, we'll need as many fit and available as possible. Good to see Dimi and Hanley on the bench. shefcanary 2,528 Posted May 4 Sam Seaman has said Fasnacht has a minor injury. One precautionary selection decision. He also expects Lungi to be advanced further up front than Nunez in a 4-2-3-1; I would have expected a 4-3-3! Not long to find out.

Strong team, if the lads are pumped up for this I reckon we could smash them. But, lose an early goal and it might become very tricky. Need Sara, Sainz and Sarge on their A game. Creedence Clearwater Couto 1,327 Posted May 4 Would’ve preferred to see Nunez deeper.. I think we recycle the ball better when he is. Having him and Sara pushed up leaves us struggling to link front to back. Not convinced with Sorenson and McLean as protection to Gibson and Duffy… but hopefully Sorenson finds the form he’s capable of.
TheGunnShow 6,197 Posted May 4 (edited) Can see that potentially being without a number 10. Ditching the number 10 and packing the centre of midfield more for solidity? Actually think McLean would be OK at 10 if Nunez and Lungi are behind him as it frees McLean up to chase after everything further up the pitch. Sara should always be coming off the right. repman 646 Posted May 4 Don’t particularly love it if it’s Nunez pushed further forward, he’s been really good in the deeper role for a while now and I’m not sure being ahead of the ball suits him as much.

BroadstairsR 2,257 Posted May 4 I'd have gone with JR and an all-out onslaught of the nervous Brum team. But no big deal. Sorensen never lets us down.

If McKenna stays, I don't personally expect them to be losing 5-0 every week. What is happening there reminds me so much of us and Lambert, so I think they may even make a decent go of it. If they lose McKenna, though, Derby's points return may be under threat.
