Perhaps it's because Plymouth have bid for Giannoulis?

Loving the press.  And despite the possession they give up at times, I do like the concept of Rowe and PP down that side too, doubling up in both directions.

It's so hard to really tell anything from pre-season but so far been pleasing to see a solid defensive shape even without that elusive CDM. Wagner seems to have got his high-press instructions finally working with our squad too, which is something.

Whether that actually materialises itself in competitive matches we all wait and see of course.

Is Placheta a lot slower than when he first joined? Pace seems to have gone and that was one of his positive attributes.

Hardly, still looks quick and lively post injury from what i've seen of pre season. He is the type of player who will likely do better at left back.

It's where Birmingham played him.

If we're becoming harder to beat, more physically robust and flintier in the tackle then I don't think this is a bad thing considering the soft underbellies of previous Norwich sides.

Yeah, looking far stronger both physically and structurally. Just have to hope the addition of Sara, Sainz and Fassnacht can bring some more goal threat.

Not able to watch today, but the subs indicate Placheta is now playing left wing in place of Rowe, with McCallum coming on at LB?

It seems as though wide man and fullback are doubling up going forwards and in defence, in possession we're having a back 3 but it's differing with each play.   You'd say he was still at LB as he's forming the left of that three at times, but then other times going down the wing.

Rowe and PP first very much the same first half, defensively they were working in pairs.

It's an interesting watch working out the dynamics for sure, I don't get people who say this is boring.
