unique 445 Posted December 17, 2022 Gibson shouldn’t be anywhere near the bench, let alone the pitch. His constant impression of a ‘rabbit in headlights’ is tiresome.

GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,824 Posted December 17, 2022 Dean Smith has ran out of excuses. 5 weeks with these players...a fully fit squad...and thats the sum totalof his efforts Turn this around in the 2nd half or clear your desk tonight
City 2nd 191 Posted December 17, 2022 (edited) If smith, MWJ, Smith and Webber think this approach is acceptable, I can certainly tell them it’s NOT. Absolutely dire, shocking to say the least, and after watching the entertaining African sides in the World Cup who know what attacking football is, smith our manager, needs another job, preferably with Ip****! Robornio 112 Posted December 17, 2022 This is one of the worst performances and team set ups I can remember for over a decade. No one looks bothered, nor seems to have a clue how to play it. The management is clearly non-existent, so why didn’t we use the time off to sort out our options? Explains why half the seats near me are empty.

alex_ncfc 673 Posted December 17, 2022 Smith has to go. This is getting beyond a joke now. Losing Farke and replacing him with Smith feels like it is having the same effect as replacing Lambert with Hughton.
TeemuVanBasten 3,327 Posted December 17, 2022 1 minute ago, chicken said: It's almost as if he's a striker and not a winger isn't it? Oh I agree with that. It was more a commentary, if anything, on Webber and Smiths failure to assemble a team capable of feeding the Goat. But he still should have attempted the through balls. Not pulling them off is understandable, not attempting them was criminal.

TheGunnShow 6,154 Posted December 17, 2022 (edited) Sinani off and someone else on would be my take on this. Not sure who - possibly Hernandez. Someone to go at them a bit - we're too ponderous in possession. Edited December 17, 2022 by TheGunnShow

Hank shoots Skyler 2,094 Posted December 17, 2022 I know we beat Swansea but it did seem ridiculous to change absolutely nothing today from a game we offered so little in. We’re playing no worse than last week IMO. It’s now been 135 mins since the break and we haven’t managed a single 20 minute good spell in either game, as had been customary before the World Cup. Can we give Smith credit for finally getting this team performing consistently over 90 minutes?
