Are we the only ones

But for sure we are the only club among the relegation candidates who have not bought anyone.

Guess that’s us all over……….

I also wish that we had effectively burnt £20m on more deadwood in a desperate attempt to stay up.
Naismith and Wildshut were both well worth every penny and NCFC legends

We could bring in someone on loan though, Gilmour has been stunning this season so another up and comer would be a great idea.

Something tells me you're being ironic! Cant be sure though! 😉

The last two games have allowed the board to get away with this a bit and fly under the radar - but be sure that if we lose the next few then big questions will be asked about a lack of ambition etc…net spend wasn’t all that this summer/ given recent promotions and sales - and adding no help at all is showing zero ambition to make a fist of it. Indeed it’s a bit of a slap in the face to the manager who pulled us close from a dire position only to be given no money at all. Has any new manager ever experienced this??!

K.moore went for three and a half. Would we fancy him? Or wrong type of player?

The thing is we aren't going to find a striker similar in movement and quality to pukki that we could afford (although his style that has worked so well in the DF system may not be the same one DS ends sticking with) I really like the kyogo movement for Celtic but would he come, and wouldn't be cheap cheap!

Not beating the club with a stick but we know we need goals, its apparent that neither  that rahsida or sgt are goal scorers so leaves us still with pukki n idah, same as prior to SW getting the other two in.

Yes we should never buy or loan a player again.

Rashica got 1 in 4 at Werder so there could be a goalscorer there. He looked to have just got going before his injury, certainly wouldn't write him off.

Sargent at least looks viable off the wing.

No signings ______Perhaps the board have a deep realisation that there is a very good possibility we are doom to the championship, and  a maybe there going to be a wholesale clear out, cuting cost etc etc, so why buy anymore dead wood🤣

Thank you for this, you make Eeyore look super positive. I would imagine Dean Smith was fully aware of the situation before he took the job, nobody forced him to do it.............

Leicester and Leeds - both owned by billionaires; both clubs saying they don't have any money to spend

Maybe not signed anyone but it is rumoured Gilmour, Normann and Omabamidele are going to be fit by next Saturday.  This should be able to rectify the midfield problem.  And with some our Summer signings now looking astute.  Who could we buy in our financial state to assist in the relegation scrap.

Did ANYONE actually expect there to be ANY signing in this transfer window? We are a self funding club and have no money to spare! We haven’t sold anyone to raise the cash needed to invest back in the playing side. Remember, Webber ‘p***ed it all up the wall’ in the summer window and took his chances then!

Yes, because we f*cked up on a couple of players, let's just raise the white flag and never buy any players when fighting relegation again.... 🙄

Well God forbid an injury to Pukki or Rashica etc. Because if we lose any of them we are screwed. If we are going to rely on Dowell, Placheta or Tzolis then God help us.

We've put ourselves in a position where we have 3 strikers in the squad and all 3 now start. Can't help but think we haven't given ourselves much of a chance and are just banking on those players not getting injured. Which they will.

Unfortunately we have a squad full of players not good enough for this level.

Anyone who dispassionately assessed the first half of this season would conclude business in January was urgent. Obvious gaps in the team - at CDM and ST. And obvious lack of talent for this level throughout the squad. A couple of decent results in last two games do not cover up the major deficiencies that caused our appalling goals against etc…

I find it bizarre that nothing at all was done to fix the glaring problems- though the reason is obvious £££
