Big Vince 423 Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Leopard: His ego on its own will swallow up Norwich. The latter will just be the EPL vehicle to satisfy it. His reputation as a former player surpasses everything else - so whatever he does as a manager, good or bad becomes secondary. No significant body of work as a manager that qualifies him. Outperformed by Farke in the Championship. London boy not Old Farm. Will probably not even re-locate - instead be holed up in a room at Post House Hotel on Ipswich Road. Wife is a confirmed WAG. Do we need WAG culture at Colney? Unknown how he will make existing players taller, faster, stronger. Kjetil: A huge chasm to be bridged between Norwegian league and EPL. Doesn't speak Norfolk. Coaching methods are so fanatical as to be borderline megalomania. Players will be attending as many sessions with the club shrink as they do with the coaches on the training pitch. Unknown how he will make existing players taller, faster, stronger. Smith: Has the most ordinary name you could possibly get. If he hyphenated it to Smith-Ginola it would at least give some exotic appeal. Outperformed by Farke in Championship. Delia is so vain she would give him the job just because his name is already a fit. Any recommendation or sentiment from Delia immediately disqualifies him from the job. Supports Aston Villa therefore keeps the same company as Bob the Grocer. When Norwich play Villa he would let Villa win so they get the 6 points instead of Norwich. Unknown how he will make the existing players taller, faster, stronger. Edited November 9, 2021 by Big Vince Deletion

A Load of Squit 6,260 Posted November 9, 2021 Give Frank a chance a, despite the old saying a leopard can change it's spots. His wife isn't a typical WAG she used to be a presenter on the One Show, she was a good presenter, she crossed the Channel on water ski's for charity. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8563750.stm The One Show presenter Christine Bleakley has completed her water-ski challenge across the English Channel in one hour and 40 minutes. The star raised thousands of pounds for Sport Relief by crossing the 21-mile busy shipping lane to France.

thebigfeller 200 Posted November 10, 2021 I'm trying to work out if either: 1. The OP has a problem with autocorrect 2. The OP genuinely thinks one of England's best footballers of the last 20 years is called 'Frank Leopard' 3. The OP thinks he's being funny Which is it? If it's 2), the OP is thick as mince. If it's 3), the OP is about as funny as root canal surgery. I can only hope it's 1).
Pugin 601 Posted November 10, 2021 ...and fwiw, he knows East Anglia very well and loves this part of the country. He has a large property portfolio in the area (and as I write it I realise that some will resent it) which his dear mother used to manage for him until she died far too young, a few years ago. He was educated very well (which again I know will cause prejudice), he's urbane, worldly, and very highly thought of throughout football. Few of these will be selection criteria during the recruitment process, but let's be fair.
norfolkngood 1,174 Posted November 10, 2021 Lampard would have more money than the owners so if we need a signing that could come in handy !

Mello Yello 2,572 Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) Leopard's apparently been spotted at Dunston Hall currently discussing a claws in his contract. As a coach he's still a bit Roar. He's certainly not a Cheetah and has never been caught Lion. He's currently sponsored by Puma and also drives a Jaguar. He Ocelot for his footballing success to Jose......'just a quick paws'.......Oh, and Leopard likes its scent so promotes Lynx.....'squirt'....'squirt'......"Cub on you Yellows!".......Purr-fect to be our coach..... Heavily indebted meaning unsustainable? Or, heavily indebted and awaiting a bailout from a filthy rich state with questionable human rights records, but still unsustainable? Or, heavily indebted but have done so because humanity is doomed and money is an abstract concept that exists only to bring order to disorder before we all plunge into the North Sea. Heavily indebted meaning that those clubs are not, in Delia's eyes, playing by the rules of the game. All clubs should be like Norwich and that to be anything other is tantamount to cheating and will not win in the long run. This is Delia's world view of football.
