cambridgeshire canary 7,799 Posted January 22, 2021 Teemu Pukki and Christoph Zimmermann are unavailable. They'll hopefully be back for Middlesbrough. Kenny McLean has tested positive, he will have to self-isolate for now. He showed some symptons last night and he will miss the game. Bali Mumba returned after isolation yesterday. He's not in his full rhythm yet. Adam Idah is finished his last days in rehab. We expect him back in full training next week . Xavi Quintilla is improved and will return to the group next week. Hank shoots Skyler 2,094 Posted January 22, 2021 Looks like we could have a completely unchanged back 4 then for tomorrow's game!
Robornio 131 Posted January 22, 2021 This is outrageous. Who the hell is spreading this in the club? If it’s from other players we play against, then why aren’t the EFL enforcing better testing before games? Get well soon Kenny.

I'm sure there will be others yet.
Surfer 1,547 Posted January 22, 2021 (edited) Back four unlikely to be unchanged IMO we will see GK (Barden), LB (Gianopoulis) plus DM (Soerenson) and N10 (Dowell) Edited January 22, 2021 by Surfer

CANARYKING 708 Posted January 22, 2021 Do we have a lot of “ fragile “ players ? Rump seems to be constantly injured, Vrancic looks knackered after 60 minutes

No mention that a work permit has been granted yet. And until that’s done then he won’t be involved, hence why at this moment in time we’ve not even seen him holding the club scarf above his head yet.

TIL 1010 5,246 Posted January 22, 2021 The Christoph injury seems to be turning into a lengthy affair.
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,622 Posted January 22, 2021 The official site says that Pukki and Zimmermann are missing for tomorrow and 'the latter could return' for Middlesbrough. That's the one that is concerning me.

Diane 500 Posted January 22, 2021 Good news that all the backroom staff are better and negative now, shame about Kenny, hope he feels better soon. Wonder if the starting 11 will be anything like Krul - Mumba - Hanley - Gibson - Xavi - Sorrenson - Rupp - Hernandez - Dowell - Placheta - Hugill

It's now an extremely contagious virus that is having a more negative effect on young people than before. I think we should be grateful that we are getting football at the moment and be even more grateful that footballers are putting their careers at stake. As has been shown at other clubs, once it gets into a close knit environment it's difficult to get rid of, whatever the level of testing.

Yeah - or maybe a substitute appearance. Anyway, it's written in The Bible that however many theoretical options Norwich have available at left back it will in fact be Jacob Sorensen who plays there. 😉
