The degrading levels of corruption to which that man will stoop for personal gain are beyond belief. And today we had him pontificating about deception at the BBC. And therein lies a major problem; when your country's PM is so blatantly corrupt he loses all authority in the moral leadership essential to the head of government. In other words, someone might get offended by what Bojo said. If you were not a liar you would quote from the report where it explicitly states there is no discrimination. "No evidence was found to support the suggestion that the party had collectively or systematically failed any particular community or group in its processes for dealing with complaints relating to protected characteristics, including race, religion or belief, or specifically Islam. We found no attitudes or behaviours within the complaints process or relating to the imposition of sanctions by the party that were discriminatory against any group or individual possessing a protected characteristic, including those with the protected characteristic of being Muslim. There was widespread agreement that Islam should not be conflated with Islamism; the former being described as a faith with over a billion peaceful adherents worldwide, and the latter is typically defined as a religio-political ideology that aspires towards an Islamic state or form of government, which can be achieved through violent and non-violent means. Everyone we interviewed agreed that the actions of Islamists should not be used to stereotype Muslims or discriminate against them." There are only two political parties that have been found to be guilty of systemic racism and anti-semitism by the Equality and Human Rights Commission - BNP and the Labour Party, one of which you support. Well b back 3,284 Posted May 26, 2021 Blimey Cummings has government documents, proving they lied and in addition kept every single what’s app message. When he says he said something he is actually reading from whats app group he kept every chat. Pretty damming so far but presumably it will just be pushed under the carpet, the white board actually shows the daily deaths with their initial plan. Fairly sure the things he says have truth in them, or will point to the chaos around in government at the time (just look back on the Covid discussions and football back in January / February 2020 on this very message board...lots of discussion about on her immunity and anger). But will it matter or change public opinion any more? Doubt it personally. This graphic indicates as much too. No-one trusts Cummings or Johnson. Well b back 3,284 Posted May 26, 2021 Omg he was more interested in an argument about his girlfriends dog, than he was about bombing Iraq or protecting U.K. citizens from COVID. Wouldn’t have believed a word he said but he is showing the messages and meeting papers. I am surprised it’s not being stopped due to National Security. No bleeping for the language. Well b back 3,284 Posted May 26, 2021 There you go it’s Cummings fault as he had more power than Johnson ( I can’t remember voting for Cummings ). They wanted chicken pox parties. It’s not that there was a right or wrong, it’s more the lies, but that will be brushed over.
Well b back 3,284 Posted May 26, 2021 Cummings tells an extraordinary story. He says on the morning of 12 March, the "national security people came in" and said "Trump wants us to join a bombing campaign in the Middle East tonight". He says this "totally derailed" meetings on coronavirus and household quarantines. He says, at the same time, "the prime minister's girlfriend was going completely crackers" over having the No 10 press office deal with stories in the press about the Downing Street dog. Part of the building was talking about bombing Iraq, part was talking about household restrictions, and "the prime minister's girlfriend was going completely crackers about something trivial," he states. kirku 1,339 Posted May 26, 2021 (edited) Many of us knew how terribly it was handled and how hugely unsuited Johnson and the cabinet were, these revelations should be the end of them - but they won't be. Unfortunately, I think James O'Brien has nailed this one: I wonder whether Cummings is about to discover just how effectively he groomed the population into believing that Boris Johnson is a good egg... Well b back 3,284 Posted May 26, 2021 Hancock should have been fired 15 - 20 times for gross incompetence. Suggestions that maybe there should be corporate manslaughter charges, Cummings can’t comment but happy to provide documents.

kirku 1,339 Posted May 26, 2021 Any political system that offers the choice of Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn "has gone badly wrong", says Cummings He adds that it was "crackers" that both he and Johnson were in roles of power during the pandemic "Lions led by donkeys again and again" 1
Well b back 3,284 Posted May 26, 2021 We’ve already heard a flavour of Dominic Cummings’ criticism of Boris Johnson – saying, extraordinarily, because of the PM’s apparently lax attitude to Covid, that he wasn’t involved in key emergency meetings early on in 2020. Boris Johnson likened Covid-19 to Swine Flu and a scare story, according to Cummings – and would say things like he wanted to be injected with the virus live on TV to prove it wasn’t dangerous. He’s also mentioned the PM’s holiday in February 2020 – clearly accusing the prime minister of not taking Covid seriously enough at what was a crucial time in the early days of the pandemic. But interestingly the PM isn’t being singled out for blame - Cummings has repeatedly described ‘groupthink’, a lack of planning, how systems were not in place for dealing with this sort of pandemic, false assumptions and the dawning realisation that the situation was far worse than anyone had realised. He said the then Cabinet Secretary Mark Sedwill wanted to advocate Covid ‘chicken-pox parties’ so more people could catch the virus. And Cummings pulled no punches in his criticism of the Health Secretary Matt Hancock, saying he told the Prime Minister repeatedly that he should have been fired and that his department was overwhelmed. sonyc 5,541 Posted May 26, 2021 Whatever is thought of Cummings' evidence today... I have to say that Hancock's words "we've thrown a protective ring around care homes" is one of those sentences that will forever live in the mind, such a callousness and disrespect in those words. Then to see him talk up his 'Care' and 'NHS' badges was a surreal moment in 2020. Hancock is worthy, in this poster's mind anyway, of the grossest contempt.
