nutty nigel 7,536 Posted December 9, 2015 Welcome to week nineteen ofour Rays Funds season. This week we have another superstar in charge of the final six selections as Kathywill is in the hot seat. Kathy is having a fantastic season in both of our PUPsleagues. She has 15/17 88% correct picks showing a profit of £5.46. Kathy hasalso twice won with the final selections so is on a hat-trick this weekend. Alot of us know Kathy well from home and away games and socially in the Nelsonwhere she is a fully fledged Nelson Numpty. In fact Kathy was a member of thevictorious Nelson Numpties team at the CSF quiz. She also always supports us atour PUPs socials and presentations. In fact Kathy reflects all the things thatI find important in supporting our beloved football club. So let’s give her theammunition for that hat-trick with our very best selection from the gamesplayed on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 websites. This weekend wehave Norfolkchance1 in charge of the Norwich selections for the game againstEverton. Norfolk has been with Ray’s Funds since the very start and Ray reallyvalued his contributions as we all still do. This is Norfolk’s first attempt atthe match selections but he’s twice won with the final six selections. His nameis already twice on Ray’s signature because it was Norfolkchance1 who suggestedArrdee should keep on his signature a running total of the funds raised. Ithink it was less than £100 at the time and now we have over £4,300. None of usever imagined we’d raise so much! Go for it Craig, you have a tenner to spend howeveryou please from the PUPs selections and your own. Time to publishthe rota for January 2016. Please indicate with your selections if the datesare suitable. 93vintage 16 Posted December 9, 2015 At odds greater than evens, I can''t see much better than a Man United win away at Bournemouth. They might be out of the Champions League, hence the unusually attractive odds, but can use this setback to go for it in the Premier League.
jb 0 Posted December 9, 2015 I''ll take dover to win away at whitehawk in the fa trophy. And ht everton ft draw at carrow road.Otbc and good luck pups!(Also nutty, im fine for that january date, thank you)
Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted December 9, 2015 Sorry to be a copycat and not bring anything new to the table, but I''ll go with 93vintage''s shout of Man United to win at Bournemouth. Good odds, that. For the Norwich game, how about Norwich/Draw on the HT/FT at 14/1?Good luck all...

Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,220 Posted December 10, 2015 As for Norfolk''s city bet I think a draw is both a good bet and a likely outcome.Once again caught in two minds and trying to find the holy grail between defence and attack, I can see a good, worthy performance against decent, well-drilled opposition.1-1 with perhaps all goals in the first half and a clean sheet for all second half.Saluti and salute! to Kathy and Norfolk...Parma 🍝🍝🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹👌👌🙅🙅👏👏🎄🎄🏆🏆💰💰💁

Kathy 733 Posted December 10, 2015 Thanks for the intro Eddie. Honoured to be asked to do it again. There have been some tricky weeks recently with F A cup banana skins and international dead rubbers, so I''m grateful to have sidestepped these and been asked to do a reasonably ''normal'' week. Looking forward to trawling through all your selections folks, so keep them coming. For my own pick I choose Doncaster to beat Crewe. City''s game? I can see no further than a draw, so I''ll select 1-1.

93vintage 16 Posted December 10, 2015 For the Norwich bet I''d expect a low-scoring game, as borne out by the home and away records of each team. I''d suggest sticking an equal amount on the following :-Everton/Everton 3/1Draw/Draw 9/2Draw/Everton 5/1Everton/Draw 12/1Maybe put slightly more on the first two and combine with under 3.5 goals @ 4/11.Maybe go for a 0-0, 1-1 or a 1-0, 2-1 Everton win, it''s hard to predict a scorer if you''re not expecting many goals. wooster 134 Posted December 11, 2015 Good luck Kathy & Norfolkchance1.As I haven''t got anything right so far I''m going for an Everton win, at 6/4. That should guarantee us 3 points. For the match bet, 3-0 to Everton at 25/1, again using reverse psychology.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted December 11, 2015 Another week, another risky cup competition and Cheltenham to beat Chelmsford in the FA Trophy. For the Norwich bet, it''s about time we saw a direct free-kick scored so how about Brady to find the net.Best of luck Patricia... er, sorry, I mean Kathy, Norfolk and all PUPs.Nutty - 30th January would be great. The Great Drinkell 50 Posted December 11, 2015 Newport County started the season appallingly ( bottom only a few weeks ago but since the appointment of John Sheridan they have improved week on week. This week they travel to Notts County who have been inconsistent this season at tasty odds of 7/2 I think the bookies may be for once being overly generous on this one.Notts County V Newport County Away winAs for the Norwich Game, Everton have impressed me every time I''ve seen them on TV ( with the exception of Manure) they may just have a little too much for us at the moment I''d predict an Everton win 2-1.
