1.

There was no best midfielder today, they were all pretty awful.
Was Wes the worstest?
They were all equally bad today.
2. You can’t play possession football when you’ve got players who can’t pass to each other, try clever litttle flicks at inappropriate times and when you don’t have a forward in the box.

4. Not seen us play this bad since Brighton away, I don’t see many games mind, maybe I’ve been lucky! We were ready to make a sub, think it was Srbeny, then the 4th goal went in and I think Farke decided to keep the players out there as a punishment. To be fair he looked as clueless as the players.
5. Moxey was only here for 6 months, was that really long enough for the damage that Webber is describing to be done? Don''t think so.
6. The bottom line is though Lincoln that I don’t remember a single post from you that was either positive about the club or praising players, managers or the board. You seem to enjoy being negative about the team so I don’t think it surprising that others should target you.
7. I have no idea why this ball-tampering incident has been added to the Ashes thread, it’s nothing to do with the Ashes and we were thrashed again because our batsmen don’t have enough discipline, they didn’t have to cheat to beat us.
8. Totally disagree, keep politics out of sport, why should sportsmen or sportswomen be used as pawns in conflicts between governments and be deprived of the chance to compete in the biggest events in their chosen profession?
9. We’ve still got something to play for, 52 points wasn’t enough to keep Leicester up in 2007/08 and Peterborough went down in 2011/12 with 54 points.
10. I had a conversation with a Tory Boy at work about music, and how it seemed that Left wing bands were in the majority. When I told him that the Blow Monkeys anti-Thatcher song ‘The day after you’ had been banned by the BBC, he told me the next day that he had deleted their songs from his iPod. Similarly after I saw Pete Wylie play and he performed ‘The day that Margaret Thatcher dies’ I told Tory Boy, and he promptly deleted ‘Story of the blues’. What a moron.
11. I preferred the Soccer Stars albums to Panini. One of my earliest football memories-in fact any memory, I was 6 at the time-is of the 1970 World Cup stickers album, which was displayed in the corridor of my primary school-can’t remember if it was complete or not, and can’t remember whether it was the teachers or the pupils who bought the stickers. I do remember the Peru team, especially Chumpitaz and Cubillas. I don’t remember watching any of the England games either.
12.

“Are you taking over Or are you taking orders Are you going backwards Or are you going forwards?”
Ah the Redskins, happy days!
Well spotted Rivvo, though I thought someone would recognise the lyrics from White Riot rather than Turnin'' Loose!
13. I listened to the game on Sunday and thought he was pretty awful to be honest-didn’t seem to know what had happened quite a lot of the time-compared to the rugby commentator, Ian Robertson is it, who is also retiring this season. I don’t like rugby but I listened to the Scotland v England match and he was excellent.
14. So Lincoln, you’ve seen him twice and he wasn’t very good, so you think everyone else is going over the top. Or maybe those were his worst games, you just happened to witness them, but everyone else who has seen him play the other games has been impressed with a player who only made his debut in-was it December?-can’t remember. I know who’s opinion I value more.
15. “Are you taking over Or are you taking orders Are you going backwards Or are you going forwards?”
16. New user name, same old tired reference to an ex policeman as a pig. You got to hand it to city1st, he''s nothing if not consistent.
17. Spending more than £50 million this season must have helped.
18. I was conceived in February 1963, which was completely unplanned as my parents had only recently been married and mum intended to carry on working for a couple of years before she started a family. I wonder whether the cold weather brought about an increase in population 😉❄️
19. I think that the furore around VAR just shows that people are becoming more impatient-it’s happening in society at every turn, hysteria reigns. God help these people if they ever have anything that’s actually important to worry about. 😳😳😳
