It’s called passion for your club. If the team are playing well fans get behind them. If the team need a bit of encouragement fans rally behind them. If the team are playing poorly (which they have for a lot of games this season) the fans vent their frustrations. During the game, things that produce reaction from the fans are what happens on the pitch (good or bad). If a player makes a mistake natural reaction is to be frustrated and vent that frustration, it’s human nature. Whats the point of waiting until after the final whistle when we have lost again. Yes the owners and the manager have to take their share of the blame for some of the recent abject performances but it’s the players who are out there on the pitch. If they are not good enough to compete in the Premier League then yes some fault lies with whoever signed them but unfortunately for them they are the ones on the pitch, earning a lot of money each week and in the fans eyes not doing anywhere near enough to warrant it.

How on earth do they expect people to renew their season tickets with this attitude/ineptitude? If the majority of us can see what’s needed to “help the boys out”why can’t they? If they think that we will get promoted again next season with the players we currently have (less those that will go back to their parent clubs or those who decide that with the clubs lack of ambition it’s time to get out) they are deluded. If something doesn’t change soon we will end up with a League 1 local derby in a couple of years time 😡

I can’t wait for the explanation. Over to you CC

Happy Birthdasy To THE Living Legend.

Only one word sums him up. LEGEND. -
…….. and I thought it was Sky who chose the games they show live, not the EPL. Interesting 🤭

Season Ticket 2022/23, 15k tops

Sorry but that’s terrible advice. The further down the stand you move, the nearer you are to the pitch. At the moment I would suggest trying the back row of the upper tier in either the Barclay or Regency. That way you can’t see clearly just how sh1t we are at the moment 😉😉 -
To get any points you either have to keep a clean sheet or score goals and we can’t do either at the moment.

Is it time for a fan led buy out?

I really really think that the only way is DOWN and I really don’t want to see that. Sorry. -
Is it time for a fan led buy out?

My major concern is that when Michael & Delia do decide to step down Nephew Tom will just continue in the same manner as they have. Unfortunately, the days when a small club like Norwich could compete with the ‘big boys’ in the Premier League went about 25 years ago. Unless we get some major investment (and yes I know that can go t1ts up) I fear that in a few years we will be in the same position as that lot down the road. This year has been worse than 2 years ago, mainly because we currently have to go to and from the ground to watch us get stuffed like the turkeys we are. I wonder how many Season Ticket holders won’t renew this time around? After attending matches and supporting my team for over 50 years I may very well be one of them and although it really saddens me to say that I’m just fed up with going to games with no hope and expectation and the resigned feeling after the game. -
Let’s get back to championship

Unfortunately our current “self financing” model does not allow us to pay wages of £60k a week. Interestingly we have been in the ‘top flight’ 27 times in our history and our record signing is only just under £10M. Surely this tells us why we won’t be looking at number 28 next season. Money rules football now and we haven’t got enough. -

Will you do the responsible thing on Boxing Day?
pearsos replied to Canary Jedi's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just going back to the match on Boxing Day. If that’s ok. If masks are compulsory whilst in the concourse and ALCOHOL cannot be taken to your seat does this mean there WONT BE ANY ON SALE IN THE GROUND? -
Don’t be silly, all the Government advisers will still be p1ssed after the party at No10 on Xmas eve 😉😉😉

Is this the worst, most biased commentary of all time?

Not telling you. You might nick my spot 😉😉

Can we ALL agree on one thing? We have been very lucky to have had some great goalkeepers over the years, going back to at least the mid to late 1950’s (and no I’m not that old to have been watching NCFC back then - but know people who did). We will all have our opinion as to whom we think is/was the best but it would be interesting if someone could set up a poll on here so we can all vote for our favourite and see who comes out on top.
-
If I remember correctly a few did after the Leeds game. All goalkeepers make mistakes but it’s how they respond. Tim’s saves in the last 2 games have probably won us 4 points.
-
It’s so difficult comparing players of different generations, whatever their playing position as the game has evolved so much in the last 50 years. In terms of goalkeepers, Keenan definitely my number one and the best keeper never to have been capped by England. However he didn’t have to cope with the current back pass rule which I feel has made goalkeeping very different. Tim Krul has continued the long line of great keepers we have had and is certainly worth the words ‘club legend’. Keep doing what you are doing Tim ( that save from Adams yesterday won us 2 extra points) and who knows where we might end up finishing at the end of this season.

So refreshing to see a second half tactical change
pearsos replied to Hardhouse44's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Only criticism I have of yesterday is why Smith started Cantwell in the first place, when it was obvious he wasn’t anywhere near ready for a first team return but credit to him for changing it at half time. -
Very well said. Why wait until after today’s game to sack him? Should have been done after last week or even the Chelsea defeat. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Webber go next, after all he has hinted he won’t be here too much longer. Who next? Probably the cheapest option. Let’s just hope that after relegation this season, the manager for next season can do a ‘Daniel’ and get us promoted. If not I really see another long spell in the Championship, sadly.

This puts the microscope on Webber now....
pearsos replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
So why give him a new 4 year contract? Something doesn’t add up. -
Probably spend most of the time talking about Farke’s sacking.
