I thought some of our challenges on Saturday were at the "robust" end of the scale, and if Ward-Prowse has seen them he'll be nowhere near their game with us - if he has any sense. BTW it was good to see us in Norman Hunter mode - Trevor would have been impressed.

He is determined to make himself look silly - there is no way that he could tell if the ball was out over the line or not from where he was - the assistant couldn't from a few yards away (but should have been closer - maybe a fitness issue?). I would have more sympathy if he said that the player who deflected the ball to Idah had just got back up after being hauled to the ground by one of our players (Andy?), and so they should have had a freekick. But he didn't say that.

I've only watched the last few minutes, but he is refreshingly fair and honest. If only more fans were like him - and I'm sure his Mum loves him.
