    Considering his technical ability only, Bamford would fit in very well with our system - more so than when he joined us a couple of years ago. Cliche ALERT: Question marks over his attitude though. Cliche ALERT ALL CLEAR.

    As much as I love Stiepermann, I suspect that we can find better in his position if we're in the PL. I'd give ol' Tom a run to start the season at DM, and would prob prefer Leitner in for Mclean at deep lying playmaker positions - we'll have the ball less, so we need to keep it as much as possible. I'd expect 4 or 5 new faces in at least, and a similar number out the door. I'd actually consider keeping Rhodes if he was affordable enough, also.

    There were several other similar tackles by QPR players throughout the game, and only one of them was booked. It's the inconsistency that has annoyed me. Agree ref didn't handle it well today.

    Unfortunately I've heard it's a 3 game ban. Being that we haven't won all season without Emi, I'm a bit twitchy, but have faith we can still get the win.

    I don't agree. I've made plenty of unpleasant challenges in my time, and whilst it might have been reckless and a booking it never veered into dangerous territory imo.

    I can, and I'm going to. Was very similar to Leistner's tackle on Emi seconds earlier that he wasn't even booked for. Zero consistency. Crap decision, influenced by QPR players swandive.

    Agreed. Probably his best performance in a city shirt for me. Was him or Trybull for my MOM.

    I generally agree with Mr Bailey's post game vlog re: changes earlier, and maybe subbing in Leitner or Vrancic for Mclean this game. However, he's got us top of the league by showing this kind of faith to his starting 11, so I'm not going to complain now.

    Having bought the ifollow season pass, this sky coverage is great news for the club's accounts, but absolutely cr@p news for me. Instead of getting 46 odd games for 150 euros or whatever it is, I'm now getting about 20 for the same price, and now having to resort to skysports at £7 a pop. Ifollow is a great service, but this is a bit of a stitch-up.

    Saw a video recently explaining the reason why Nelson was so quick to celebrate in front of ipswich home crowd after scoring - can't remember the link, but it showed them earlier in the game singing "Tyrone Mings, he stamped on your face, he stamped on your faaaaaace..." en masse. Classy. Even in all the years that we've been sh1te (Roeder / Grant / Rioch, etc), I'm glad our fanbase has never resorted to this sort of thuggery and moronic behaviour / chanting. Get me some cushions. I'm going to be on this high horse a while.

    These are the performances that win you promotion. Doesn't hurt that we've got our own version of Maradona, either.

    I'd like to think they'll stick around. Pre-season always seems to be a genuine place to stake a claim under Farke's rule, and they will have witnessed that this season (and the previous one, with Klose).

    And to think we have January's PFA player of the month still trying to get into the team, as well. We've been ridiculously spoilt this season.
