1. "Paul Ince has been out of work since being sacked by Blackpool last season" Its because he has been given chance after chance and proven to not cut it as a manager. That is why he is out of work, not because he is black. "There are 192 Uefa Pro Licence owners in England and 14 of those are black coaches" You dont get given a Licence, you have to work for it. "Around 25% of players in the professional game are non-white" So, by the same token, should we be setting a rule to make sure we have enough white people in the game? NO, because that would be racist! You CANNOT tackle discrimination by discriminating!
2. Grant Holt, Gary Hooper, RVW, Bechhio All proven goal scorers who were ruined by Hughton
3. Brentford are not going to be a walkover, they are a good solid team who have maintained the momentum that brought them up last season. They could well be the surprise package this season and I think they will make the playoffs. I dont see the team changing much, Jerome in for Lafferty and depending on his back strain, Whitaker may take Martins spot for this game.
4. He was claiming offside, both players were behind the ball so not offside.
5. I think this is a very good signing, not too much fanfare about it and dont see too many excited by it, but I have a gut feeling, that we will be very happy with this move come the end of the season.
6. He needs to stay, to get promoted from this league you need a strong squad and this gives us 4 really good level strikers, I think its the strongest forward line in the league. Its no good having 2/3 top strikers, if 1 or 2 get injured, then any momentum that has been built is lost and hopes of promotion with it.
7. Unbelievable, this is going to bite us on the backside big time. Shocking decision by the Carrow Road Hierarchy!
8. He isn''t going to QPR, they cant afford him. Final.
9. I still think he will come good given the opportunity, but I fear that we may have seen the last of RVW in a Norwich Shirt.
10.
Better all round player than Tettey. Has Prem experience too. Good value on a free. If it''s him in on a free to replace Tettey who is leaving for £2-4million then to me this is good business.
Agreed, yes he is 31, yes he was deemed not good enough for the Prem, but we need a sprinkling of experienced heads in the team which is something we are lacking at this level.
11. Personally, I think that the FA need to clamp down on this, its only 1 step away from tapping up. The fact is that QPR are massively in debt and will not be bankrolling the big transfer deals we have seen from the in the past, they simply cannot afford him. He is a Norwich Played and until that changes, he should keep his crinkly gob closed.
12. The team were very fluid, played with freedom and lots of pace and movement. Compared to the static formations we have been used to the last few years, it was wonderful to see.
13. Hmm, forgive me for being skeptical, but you met him in a bar for the first time and he told you all this?? Also, why would he be in a hotel, he has a house in Norwich??? And what makes this really unbelievable is that anyone would willingly go to watch this film!!!
14. RVW is in the squad so he must be staying.
15.
Negative Newton is having another go at the board. Surprise, surprise. Wes, Pilks and Ollson were given extended leave and RvW not quite ready. The only player "missing" was Bassong, but don''t let the truth get in the way of a chance to attack the board Newt.
THIS!!!
16. You could look at it from a different perspective that some of the junior members of the squad such as Loza, Gafaiti, Murphy(s) would benefit more from being part of the squad than Bunn, RVW and Bassong.
17. Serious questions. With Snoddy going for a reported £7m and McCormack going for £11m, how much is Fer worth? He is much better than these 2 and has the pedigree to go with it, so how much would a club need to bid to prize him away?
18. Fulham agree £11m fee according to SkySports.... £11m!!!!!! Always knew Leeds were dirty but this is daylight robbery! Crazy, crazy fee!
19. I can see Loza spending some time out on loan and maybe Becchio moving on. NA is building a versatile strikeforce that allows him much more flexibility with the systems and formations.
20.

To all posters who like to slag RVW off on here constantly here are some of the reasons why it didn''t go to plan. 1. 1st season in another country always hard. 2. NCFC didn''t play to his strengths, i.e. running between centre halfs and out pacing them. He never got a pass like Hoopers goal at WBA. 3. Snodgrass taking ball off him for penalty against Villa knocked his confidence to bits. 4. Having C. Hughton as manager, a clueless individual. He is the 1 player at the club who could make the difference between promotion and mid table. Having said all that I don''t think he helped himself sometimes with weak tackling back and immature behaviour on the pitch. If we sign Callum Wilson It could be a very Dean Ashton type signing for the club because we will go nowhere with the other 2 we have signed imo.
players need to adapt to fit into systems.. if they cannot do that they will not succeed. RVW did not adapt... he did not succeed.
Straight from the management school of Glen Roeder. Any decent manager will play to a players strengths. Hughton did not do this which is why we got relegated. Lambert DID and oversaw one of the most successful spells in the clubs history. The system fits the personnel, not the other way round.
21.
Russell Martin will be captain. End of discussion.
THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
22. Although I would want him to stay, I dont think the club would or should stand in his way if Arsenal or one of the other top 6 clubs came knocking with an acceptable bid. I would wish him well and thank him for his services and loyalty to the club. CP can jog on, its not in his best interest to move to a team that will be battling relegation.
23. This gets right on my nerves, nobody is ever going to name their source as it puts the job of that source at risk. Members of staff at NCFC have to sign confidentiality agreements so they are trusting that their friends wont name them. I have a friend who works at the club and he has told me stuff which I have passed on by word of mouth or forums, but would never risk his job or friendship by naming him. Now do you get it????
24.
Bassong, Fer and RVW are on their way out, they havent been allocated squad numbers. No. 5 going to Russ Martin. oh, and dont ask for source, this info comes from within the club but I''m hardly likely to go naming them as they will face disciplinary actions.

Do not know our squad yet so very unlikely squad numbers will be finalised for several weeks. Doubt this story very much.

in the short promo video for the new kit martin is no 2.

There will have been nothing done about squad numbers in the middle of june
OK, not 100% correct but Russ did get no.5
25. Would be a superb signing if we can get him, powerful and quick with an eye for goal. If we do land him, it must mean that one or two are heading out. I would rather we started looking at other areas of the squad.
