1. Was that a young Daryl Sutch and Mike Phelan being interviewed in the Norwich end? Willhire Trophy? Blimey, forgotten all about that little gem!
2. Thanks for all the help and good wishes people. Got to say, feeling a bit of ''pressure'' with potential choices, but also feeling positive so would like to go for; Norwich to win with over 2.5 goals in the game Lafferty anytime, Norwich to win 2-1 H/T Draw F/T Norwich win And as Kathy made me blush, 2-2 please Nutty Cheers again
3. Hard to top a DM, Spartacus, but I''ll go with Dunlop Green Flash. Already had 2 eras, due a third soon , no doubt
4. Tell you what SDP, I wouldn''t waste your energy posting next week''s Presser on here. It''s like lighting the blue touch paper
5. Without a doubt, Martin O''Neill last minute free kick to win 3-2 back in 1982. PANDEMONIUM in the away pen.
6. Err, Bolton aren''t that decent, although I''m not underestimating Watford, I always believe we can beat teams
7. I don''t get why Brazil would have been a lot more shocked if it had been Robbie Williams that had committed suicide. Was it because he is British? Was it because of his age? If Robbie Williams commits suicide, anytime in the next 50 years, what difference is there? He is also known to have demons with drink and drugs, although they aren''t the exclusive reasons why people take their own life, of course. On a semi related subject, can anyone else remember a poster on the official NCFC forum , who touched on his personal battles with depression, but this happened at the end of the Forum, when it was then taken down? Does anyone know who he is? Do you post on here? Would you (they) want to share their thoughts on this subject, and would it help?
8.
Most fans of other clubs know very little about us or our players. They associate us with Delia but certainly do not see us as a scalp. There was an illuminating interview on radio Norfolk before the game when a Wolves fan was asked about us and when asked what players he feared he said he did not know any of them.
To be fair, coming from Wolves, he probably hadn''t heard of the big hot orange ball in the sky, merry quips, the countryside, or fashion, either. So let''s not take that viewpoint too seriously Oorlrooight? With ''Premier League'' having been attached to us for the last 3 seasons, then yes, we are a scalp, just look how the binners are getting excited about beating a much changed Fulham on Saturday
9. Well, there can''t be anything wrong in mentioning him just before we play against him, is there.........................?
10. Coupled with your avatar BBB, I just had a little laugh out loud moment
11. I am sure that Mr McNally has noticed that Britt Assombolonga has just signed for Nottm For for £5m plus add ons, and will use that in any negotiating, if our World Cup semi finalist with 3 years left on his contract is being chased by other Clubs...............
12. Ah, come on Mrs M, that''s being hard on Adams, Hughton wouldn''t have had the nous to change tactics, Adams did, it wasn''t because ''Liverpool let us back in''. Before when we''ve been 2-0 down to Liverpool, and ''had to'' come back we haven''t, they have been relentless and stomped all over us. There is praise for Adams for getting the tactics right against an excellent Chelsea, on a sharp learning curve, on a ''horses for courses'' basis?
13. About the very best we could have hoped for, under the circumstances.
14. I agree with your last point Mrs M, but do you think, that against Liverpool, and under Hughton, that being 2-0 down after 10 mins, would have led to an almighty spanking, but Adams nearly (and even Liverpool fans agreed with me) pulled off an amazing draw? Also, vs Chelsea, that we restricted them to only 4 shots on target (I call it a tactical masterpiece, as opposed to negative defensive football) and could have snatched it, if our now departed winger had a good first touch?
15. Well, according to this http://the72.co.uk/away-attendances-for-201314-season/ it was Charlton who brought the most to their shed, so one can only assume that, for the Sheff Wed game (1,000 away fans), they were doing ''kids for a quid''. Unnervingly, the 19k figure rears it''s head again......
16. Tactical nous of Lennon in Europe, you say Highland? Jeez, he got a bit lucky, which can happen, and once they got really serious, they were blown away. Aggression? Every team has got it, but you talk like it should be ''Muscatesque'' in its application. Planning on spending a lot of your hard earned, following the team around this season Highland? Your family must so look forward to you coming through the door after a game.
17. Perhaps if Wes scores again, he might come up with a (ny) celebration
18. Is that politician speak for 19k of their own, and 2k of ours?
19. If Mrs Ricardo was wanting you to go to bed, then hell, the Celta equaliser can wait......................
20. Yep, I''m sure I''ve just seen Fer on the Pirates ship, downing about 8 pints of Sangria, whilst his wife was singing ''Get them down you zulu warrior.....''
21. It is about respect, so Arry should shut his cakehole. Hasn''t he already said if QPR had stayed down, he would have walked? Nothing personal then Arry............
