1. I think some of us are taking things far too seriously. Yes we''ve haven''t picked up many points recently, but personally I don''t think we''ve done too badly - mean we were hammered on our visits to Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea weren''t we? No we weren''t, we picked up a point at Anfield, narrowly missed out on a point at The Etihad and lost by 1 goal at Stamford Bridge. Yes we were thrashed at Newcastle but their 4th goal came against the run of play and had we equalised instead of them extending their lead, I think we would have got something out of the game. I feel our defence has also improved in recent games. I''m not we will definitely stay up but I feel the likelihood of our survival at the moment is far greater than most of us think. We just need to make sure we invest in some players, most importantly defenders in January - there''s already talk that we''re tracking Ron Vlaar, who rejected a new contract offer at Aston Villa in the summer and is a free agent All I can say is either be more positive or stop supporting Norwich and be a glory hunter instead (support one of the big teams)
2.

What are we, as a club, ever realistically going to win?The Championship.FA Cup - very unlikelyCarling Cup - whatever it is these days - unlikelyPremier League - no chanceEuropean Qualification - noSo our business strategy may as well be: live within our means, don''t overstretch ourselves and do our best with what we can afford.I am totally fine with that.
Totally agree with what you''re saying, but if spending a little more in the summer means we stay up this season, surely thats playing smart? And obviously I understand that spending money doesn''t guarantee success. I think we could have done with just a little more quality, and it wouldn''t have taken much to get it. I just don''t want this season to mirror the one where Ashton was too little, too late.
Personally I think I have to agree with you there Bor, but you never know what could happen in the future - if we manage to achieve survival this season we might strengthen next season. I''m just wondering if we could ever become as strong as that team of the early 90s again
3. Have watched the game on MOTD and think the first penalty might be a bit controversial as it seems to hit Martin more on his shoulder, though there don''t seem to be any complaints from the players
4. Does anyone know how many games Rudd has played for us in the PL? The only reason I''m against bringing in Rudd for Ruddy is simply because I think it''s too risky as I fear he will be even worse. Personally I think that we should look for a new keeper with good PL experience in January
5. Bournemouth have already lost their most expensive signings to serious knee injuries - Max Gradel is out for 6 months and Danny Ings for the rest of the season. Wilson got off to a flying start - 5 goals in 6 games but also could be out to a serious knee injury, that''s 3 key players lost after just 7 league games to long term injuries. It''s still early days but they might struggle
6. I Certainly wouldn''t say it will be easy to stay up, but I do believe that we stand a good chance at the moment. Yes we are only 5 points off 18th but we are also 3 points off 5th and level on points with 5 other teams, just behind them on goal difference. Our next 3 games are Leicester (h) Newcastle (a) and West Brom (h) and I believe we will get at least 5 points out of them
7. Our fixture away to Newcastle is on Sky. I Also believe that we could get at least 6 points out of our next 3 games - Leicester (h), Newcastle (a) and West Brom (h). Newcastle go to the Etihad next weekend and I''m relieved they threw away a 2 goal lead against Chelsea today. I''m hoping the Canaries will win the bird fight when they visit the Magpies
8. Hopefully Mings out will give us a boost next weekend. Gradel is also out

10. When Martin first arrived he played as a RB. However, he has not played there recently and has got used to playing a CB partnership with Bassong so I reckon that he is probably now better as a CB than RB. Wisdom will play RB
11. In my opinion we need to start leaving Grabban out of the matchday squad against Bournemouth. This is his first season in the top flight, but Hooper and Jerome have PL experience. I don''t think that he wants to play for us anymore as it seems like he wants to go back to Bournemouth and so if he plays against them he might score a hat trick of own goals. He was decent last season but I never want to see him play for us again
12. Agree with you there UB. You can never tell how well a team is going to do at the start of the season so we need wait for the winless run to come. I still have belief we can survive at the moment as it''s too early to tell. At the moment the gap between 1st and 20th is only 11pts
13. We''ve still got 34 more games to play, so it''s a whole case of wait and see. I know we have a weak defence and should have signed another defender this summer. Ollson is back soon which would let Brady play in his preferred position. If Mbokani or Jerome turns out to be the next Dean Ashton then I think we will survive. Lets not forget we played well in our first 3 games despite only winning 1. We were poor against Soton but I think we have to give Mr Whittaker the honours for that
14. I agree with you Samwam. Personally I think that RvW is better than both Grabban and Lafferty as he has more PL experience and a far better attitude
15. I think the ref had a decent game today. Yes the first goal should have been disallowed for offside but it was very close and difficult to tell without replaying the incident. Personally I feel that it was mainly Whittaker rather than the whole team to blame for the defeat. In my opinion the ref got both of the decisions spot on. I felt some refs might have sent him off at the first offence, as he appeared to fight the Southampton player for the throw in
16. I have felt that Whittaker is a decent player and has been over criticised. However, today his performance was appalling and he was all to blame for the defeat. I think that Whittaker could now lose his first team spot to Wisdom
17. AN said the way players earn their places in the team was by good attitude. The last time RvW played for us was against Man Utd, and he''s clearly been trying his best to get back into the first team squad ever since. Grabban''s reaction to being left out of the starting lineup when he has frequently been playing for the first team ever since he joined is not acceptable. RvW also has a little bit of premier league experience, which Grabban has none of
18. I''m also hoping that RvW starts tomorrow night. In my opinion the league is far more important to us than the cup, and so I want AN to rest some of our first choice players ready for Sunday and give some of our second choice players a go
19. We are still unbeaten away under Alex Neil and I do believe that we can get quite a few more. However, I think that we need to wait until some more games have been played and we can see how teams are likely to do. I mean Leicester are top of the table at the moment, but do you really think they''ll make the Champions League? Arsenal are in the drop zone, but do you really think they''ll finish in the bottom half?
20. I also have big belief in Alex Neil - if we signed him last summer I reckon we probably would have got automatic promotion, just like if we signed Dean Ashton at the start of the 04-05 season we would have stayed up and not experienced a 6-0 defeat at Craven Cottage
21. Of all the teams that have won promotion via the playoffs, over half of them have come straight back down. Danny Murphy has said that we are the most equipped to stay up though, as we have a lot of PL experience in our squad. Several of my friends have also said that they reckon of the 3 promoted teams, we are the most likely to survive. I think we should stay up, as I feel our players have good experience Let''s not forget that the season hasn''t even started yet, and hopefully we can prove Collymore wrong
22. It would be stupid for Redmond to go to Liverpool as he defiantly won''t play much and so if they won a trophy he wouldn''t get a medal. If he stays with us he also won''t get a medal (as I can''t see us winning any trophies) but I do believe he will play regularly which could earn him an international call up to the England first team, as he''s been doing really well for the U21s
23. I do hope that AN does give RvW a try. Yes he was rubbish this season, but it was Adams who was the manager and had no experience. Personally I reckon that he will play next season though but I do wonder how Grabban will do next season as he has no Premiership experience
24. I''m aware that the kit was designed like this in memory of the kit that was worn 80 years ago when Carrow Road first opened, but I don''t like it. It isn''t half and half either, as the logo is in a yellow box which takes over some of the green. It''s the yellow box that ruins it most of all
