Good point actually

This only benefits the PL and Championship teams. For fixtures involving just PL and Championship teams they should scrap replays, but for fixtures involving a League One or lower side they should keep them

If Leeds and Leicester fail to capitalise now

Leeds have let us down. At least Leicester have done us a favour -
Derby day predictions
HazzaJet replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Will always take a draw. Unfortunately I think our 15 year unbeaten derby run will come to an end though. If it does though at least they won't have done what we did to them under Lambert (the league double over them with a 9-2 score on aggregate, 4-1 at Carrow Road, 5-1 at Portman Road) -
Signed on loan with an option to buy. Yet to start as Wagner says he’s not fit enough. All he’s really done so far is provide the assist for Fassnacht’s goal in our 4-1 win against Cardiff, so I can only see him going home at the end of the season

West Brom have now equalised

Leicester have lost to Bristol City. West Brom currently trailing to Millwall

The problem with Mumba is that before this season started he’d only ever made a few appearances in the Championship. Although McCallum was still poor at the start this season, he’s had two season-long Championship loans in the past

Giannoulis out for "a few weeks"
HazzaJet replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Injuries are not good news, although McCallum has massively improved from what he was like at the start of the season. However, I think it’s highly likely that Giannoulis will be departing this summer and so unless the club have plans to offer him a new contract, I would like McCallum to get priority over him in the starting XI -
What’s new with Watford. If they fail to make the playoffs I reckon the replacement will be gone by next season

Feel sorry for Maidstone Utd

It’s always sad to see a non-league club get eliminated from the cup, but I’m sure that cup run has earned them a financial fortune -
We signed him with a sell on clause, but as far as I'm aware we didn't sell him with one. Wasn't worth a sell on clause anyway

I’ve always loved Samba De Janeiro. I even have it as the ringtone for my mobile

Jonathan Tomkinson, one for next season?
HazzaJet replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If we fail to get promoted I think we will see him playing for us next season, as I can’t see the extension in Batth’s contract being activated, and if Gibson and Hanley are kept probably being used more as backup than starters as Knapper wants to create a younger squad. If we win the playoffs though, I think he will be sent out on loan again along with all our other players currently out on loan -
If Celtic and Rangers move into the EPL they may never qualify for Europe again
-
Formed a brilliant defensive partnership in Farke’s second promotion campaign but both past it now. Although Gibson’s out of contract this summer I think there may a possibility that he might still be offered a new one if we fail to get promoted, if an offer comes in for Hanley this summer I would take it whilst we can still get some money for him
-
If Sargent wanted/needed to come off, then the reason for him being subbed is understandable. Even so, I would have brought van Hooijdonk on as his replacement, not Nunez
-
Yes. Although I would still have taken Sargent off, I would have given him at least 10 more minutes on the pitch and brought van Hooijdonk on as his replacement
-
He did so that he would be available for Watford on Tuesday but took him off far too early, and should have brought SVH on
-
That draw with West Brom has put Ipswich level on points with Leeds, just behind on GD and one point behind Southampton. However, Leeds and Southampton host Rotherham and Huddersfield so will probably extend their leads by three points
-
Baggies back ahead!

QPR hoping to take advantage of our “recent run of travel sickness”. Yes we’ve lost 3 of our last 4 away fixtures, but it wasn’t a bad performance against Leeds and when we lost to West Brom and Millwall Sargent had only just returned from injury. Even so, I don’t think it’ll be an easy game, as QPR have also done quite well recently
