1. Some people would pay for that....
I just almost filled my underpants with something which was a mixture of anger and fear [:''(]
2. Feel free to post it over at my site, I will sticky it for you.
 3. Yes but he is used to winning, unlike Those three midfield idiots last season who put their heads down and prayed for the final whistle.  Its not all about perceived skill with a football!

Futureisyellow does raise a valid point. But then by the same token rather than look for the negatives in the situation (of which I wholeheartedly acknowledge there are many) there are definately some positives to come out of the summer thus far. Three new faces, actual Norwich City contracted players and all of whom have experience at the current level we are playing at. And the transfer window hasn''t even opened yet, when the players and agents and so on have returned from their holidays the wheeling and dealing should gather pace. There''s also Martin and Spillane fresh off of their Luton spells which by all accounts seem to have made them better players (relegation was seemingly inevitable thanks to the points deduction, thus can''t possibly be held against them). I''m just as fed up as everyone else with the old "give them time" talk from those connected with the club, but in this case I think it''s warranted. Pre-season will be vital in getting the new lads to blend in and we can find out their strengths and weaknesses.
Matty Gill has no experience at this level.
4. Our total squad is quite big, but our senior pro''s is not that large a total.  We have two players for every position and a decent reserve squad to develop.Who the hell can find anything to moan about in that?
 5. The night before a game I cover myself in lard and run naked through the village at two am.  Every single week....
 6. Nah. We are ood to go.  Pace is not everything, surely we have learnt that by now?  We have Hoolahan and WLY who can drible past a man and we have the pace of Whaley.
 7. Yes but every day he''s proving us all wrong.  A good squad assembled, a good pre season, he has  not put a foot wrong yet.
The only thing that still worries me is the fact that Bryan Gunn is our manager. If ever there was a weak link he is it.
8. Yes I agree.
I would imagine baring injury, this will be our 1st 11 come Colchester.
9. So putting two and two together.  Pete asked a while back bout what we would like to see on a mobile site, and also that they were working on a new site for the future.Expect a subscription content service soon with the paper disappearing.....
 10. Too expensive, too crocked, still unproven as a City player. With Askou being offered a contract it looks like Dejan is off.  Sad, but he is a big wage an unreliable fitness wise.  Think you are also being unfair on the Doc who has had to play with different centre backs last season and had to cover the failing Otesemobor all season. Add to that the fact that the defence got NO cover from the midfield last season, and I think the Doc-bashing is becoming a mite unrealistic.
 11. On the left and behind the strikers would assume a 4-3-3 formation. Not likely.  We also showed good width with 4-4-2 with McVeigh and Hoolahan on Saturday, so why change that formation?

Looks pretty decent on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Cleverley Nominated for player of the year and called up to first team etc.  Would be surprised if we could get him. Also not sure this is the area of the team we need to be strengthening and would rather see our Tom A get games ahead of Man U youngsters.
What makes you think that 5''9 TC plays in CM?He plays on either wing, and I think we need someone like him on the left allowing Hoolahan to move behind the strikers.
12. Midfield of Tudor Jones and Hughes more liely if Hughes is fit.  Otherwise Gill and Hughes I feel, unless they think Adeymni is worth throwing in early.Left back - on current form I would say Lappin ahead of hoolahan, especially as he offers a sweeter left foot for early balls into the box.Whaley also looks well off the pace, and on current performances I would say McVeigh.
Doc has been made Capt with Nelson and Gill as vice Capt''s.You can possibly assume then that the prefered starting centre backs will be Doc & Nelson. Using that logic Gill will also start and apart from 1 forward position I feel the other places are favoured by those of experience.Hence I feel the likely starting 11 to be;GK: Theoklitos.RB: Ostemobor CB''s: Doc & Nelson LB: Drury.RM: Whalley CM''s: Gill & Hughes LM: Hoolahan.FWD: Holt & ? Any other thoughts ?
13. We have senior midfielders now and in the pressure cooker of next season I think its better to bring an obvious talent through over the course of the season than just throw him in.  Nothing to do with age, but with age comes experience and the ability to deal with tough situations.
 14. Ahh.  You see I''m not writing him off yet!

Chris Martin surely is "another striker" ???
I do think that there is a danger that Otsemobor will be the scapegoat that many fans always feel the need to have each season. I thought he was one of out better players yesterday and I''m sure will be more than good enough at league one level. I think there are other areas of the pitch that are more of a priority than right back, from yesterday''s evidence ,even with the signing of Holt, we still need another striker because Cureton is simply past it!

Indeed he his but, if we''re writing off Cureton (which I am) you can''t go through a whole season operating with only 3 strikers (Holt/Martin/McDonald) - we still need somebody else.
15. He is still a kid and with other senior players around it would be madness to throw him straight in I reckon.  Tudor Jones looked neat and mobile for 6''4" and with Hughes coming in, I think shouts for Adeyemi to be thrown straight in are wide of the mark personally.
 16. Chris Martin surely is "another striker" ???
I do think that there is a danger that Otsemobor will be the scapegoat that many fans always feel the need to have each season. 17. On the evidence of the first half yesterday, and with Hughes and a few others to come in / gel, we have a team that can win the division.  Oh and when Clingan/Russell money comes, probably around 500K in the bank for a signing/loan boost in January. As some of you know I was disgusted with the last few seasons, but what I am seeing on and off the pitch in the past few weeks is a world away from the chaos of Grant and Roeder and the damage they did.We have a youth team with some class and a surplus of professionals that means we can actually play a proper reserve team again.  We have two players in each position.  We have a squad that on paper and early evidence can take on anyone in L1.Positive.  You bet your saintly asses I am.
 18. To be fair to Spillane he came on for ten minutes out of position!
...oh and the less said about Curo the better (he just doesn''t cut the mustard,..come on Wolves) From glimpses of what Whaley offers, I  recon this guy is going to be big for us. Nelson looked ok, Doc looked the Doc, keeper ok, Gill ...was he on the pitch ? -didn''t notice. Spillane is a player I''ve always liked but he was pretty anonymous too. I''m really looking forward to the season ahead. (Again! lol)
19. Jesus Shaun, what game where you watching????
Ok, it was ''one friendly'', and they ''need time to gel'', and i ''shouldn''t base any evaluations on one game'', but quite frankly - it was awful. Jamie Cureton is a pathetic excuse for a player. Every time he got the ball he lost it, it was laughable. Why he is still at this club is beyond me - and how anybody can think that he ''may be good now we''ve dropped down a level'' is also, in my opinion, far from the truth. I''ve seen enough of Jamie from the last 2 seasons to know he''s useless - but today truly confirmed that. Owain Tudor-Jones. Very poor game I thought from him. However, its the first time I''ve seen him play so, unlike Cureton, I''m not going to start shouting for him to be sold - I''m just hoping he improves. From todays performance I saw a clumsy player who just walks around the centre circle and can''t seem to see the ball from how high up he is. I''m just hoping thats because he didn''t get much of the ball - but time will tell. Paul McVeigh - didn''t do very much bar one useless cross. I''m still rather suprised we actually signed him and can''t believe he is still good enough to do a job for us - but I liked McVeigh in his prime so i''m willing to give him another try as well. Simon Whaley - the signing I was most excited about. I was expecting to see him keeping out wide and using his pace to burst down the wing. Infact, it seemed to be the complete opposite. Didn''t see him use his pace once and most of the time Otsemobor would be  out wide and Whaley would have randomly positioned himself on the inside. Again, he only got 45 minutes so it would be unfair to judge that signing from today - but I was very underwhelmed. Grant Holt - didn''t get much of the ball. But just from his posture and movement I''m still doubtful if he will justify his price tag. When he got the ball today, he didn''t seem to put much effort in either. But as he didn''t get much of the ball I''ll be hoping he improves. Besides, if I was left on the bench for Jamie Cureton I wouldn''t put much effort in either. Even so, there were some positives to take out from the match... Chris Martin - superb attitude and effort first half. Used his strength well and looked composed when on the ball. One of the few players to stand out today and look like he was putting in any effort. Tom Adeyemi. Strong and quick central midfielder who looks like he''s got an eye for goal. Excellent strike for his goal, using his strength to muscle through a defender and hammering it into the top corner. He was not far away from a second with a powerful scissor kick either. Him and Martin were the stand-out players today. Askou - faded away but looked strong and good with his head from the first 30-or-so minutes.   Overall, I was very dissapointed from the performance today and my optimism levels have dropped considerably. I hope I see a mjor improvement against Wigan.
20. Apart from Maric I cant see why we need them?  Better to bank the cash.  We have Hoolahan, McVeigh, Pattison and Lappin for LM, RB we have Spillane and Otsemobor (i know he was outclassed buts its a league lower), plus the lad whose name escapes me as a reserve.  Centre backs, we have three plus Spillan can play there, so really no need there either.Dont forget we have not done loans yet either!
 21. Lets dredge up every single post.  Lets burn them all at the stake !(kidding...)
 22. Great news, a great week of signings and optimism rises.  Sod off to all the negative nancies, we can do it, if Gunny gets them playing....
