Fact is you pays your money and you takes your choice. Everyone sees the game from their own perspective and everyone is entitled to. There is no right and no wrong. Footy fans are the same everywhere (apart from glory seeking plastics obviously, they are a scourge and deserve our opprobrium) Winning is all. End of.

4 years of bad days is a lot to forgive. During that 4 years who has always been here?

Shouldnt a club with 25k attendances be finding a slightly higher level than Div 3?

Now that the Turners have broken cover and indicated  that differences at board level resulted in them pulling the plug on their investment, shouldnt the rest of the board let us know what actually happened? Roger Mumbys assertion that he didnt know the reasons why they left , now look more feeble than ever. Differences were there , the Turners confirmed it. Rumours of a bust up between Turners and MWJ have been doing the rounds. What exactly are these "footballing reasons"?

Gunny needs rescuing from this headlong plunge into Div 3

Stuart cannot help it. Care in the community means that lots of confused and bewildered  people can now attend football matches with no need for supervision and in some cases with no medication. Bless.

If Delia and the board arent the problem , then who is? They are the only constant over the past 4 seasons. Managers (appointed by the board) have come and gone. Players recruited by the managers (appointed by the board) have come and gone in their droves like  never before. The appointment of Gunny scared me from day one. In my opinion he was a wonderful goalkeeper for us. As a man you can only admire his bravery, loyalty and courage in adversity..................    but where do we get the idea from that he can be our saviour as manager. He has held several ambassodorial roles at the football club and I understand that has excelled in these positions. However under GR in his role to recruit players, he was no great shakes and fell back on the old excuse that attracting players to this area is difficult. He has now reverted to the GR school of excuses ie , bad luck, poor referees etc etc etc. I dont balme Gunny he is a good man ,but the board should never have appointed him. Lamb to the slaughter!!!!  

Shit does sometimes happen and to everybody.   Difference here is shit keeps on repeatedly happening over 4 seasons. As they say , if you keep on doing what you have been doing you will keep on getting what you have been getting.   Somethings got to change.

She may well care for the club. The drunk at the end of the bar in my local cares for the club. But he has no more idea than she does of how to run it.

Cort would be no great loss. During yesterdays game, one moment summed him up for me. A deep cross came in form our left wing, the Cov keeper had to come right to the edge of his area to jump and catch it. Cort was lurking but made absolutely no effort to challenge. Iwan Roberts would have been all over the keeper and even if he couldnt have won the ball he would have at least put some pressure on and in all likelihood would have battered the keeper.  

There is no point waiting to see what the boards plans are. They have already said they dont have any strategy.

I go into the home players changing room and tell them to do their best. if they dont feel up for it I say never mind you probably will be in the mood next week.   Yours sincerely Brian G.

What a pathetic comment. The board run the club. Surely the people who run the club should take reponsibility? Who else should be culpable. The people who dont run tthe club?   I give up!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with drinking Jamesons, excellent stuff. My own booze history so far tonight is. 2 Stellas on returning from the ex fortress Carra to dull the pain. Followed  by 2 glasses of Merlot at dinner to be sociable. I predict a doubling of this intake before retiring to bed to dream of supporting a football club with some idea of where it is going. If Mrs beachbum is in the mood tonight , this negativity might change!!    

The Aviva Divas are excellent.   They should replace our entire playing squad.   In fact what should happen is that the football players should come out before the game and at half time and shake their bits, and the Divas should play football, couldnt do any worse could they?

I deliberately dont drink too much before a game cos I dont want to be missing anything.. However around me, you can predict that on 20 mins people start to head to the  Gents.   What really gets me though are the ones who leave about 6 or 7 mins before half time, then wander back sometimes up to 10 mins after 2nd half kicks off. You might as well spend the PM in the pub.
