1.

WBA 5 Man Utd 5. You can tell there is not too much riding on some of these games...
Well that''s 11th instead of 15th for us. Do you still get more money for each league position, or did they change that?
800k per place 1st = 16m 11th = 8m 20th = 800k
 2. That may be so Hog, but considering this ''highlight'' video i''ve just seen i''m glad we didn''t wait to find out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCr3Dc0WLiU My favourites probably 1:20 when he falls on his backside... ha
 3. Well done Moyes! At the same time a belated thank you to Bryan gunn for getting us out of league 1. You dont need to debunk myths about second season syndrome to understand it was always going to be an effort to keep Norwich in the premier league this season, Hughtons done the job required and deserves the congratulations he''s currently getting. The 5-0 loss and 7 game run without a win may well have come under him, but they are all part of a 38 game season in which we are 12th and safe with 1 game to go.
 4.
I think the figure is actually £800,000 per place in prize money - which even at £700,000 would give us £6.3m in eleventh place., not £7.7m.
He said 10th position in the OP but I think your right it is 800k per place, however the bottom team do actually receive this, so I guess its 7.2m for 11th place and 8.0m for 10th
 5. So is this actually helpful to the french then? I dont think I could ever bring myself to do something like this so fair play to Barton for that, mind you wouldn''t it just be easier to pick up a more reasonable english accent as oppose to this? And GP he was explaining it to you.
 6.

Is he chiefly responsible for getting hughton here? Thought you where listing negatives wiz?
This is it friend, was he, or was it the whole board? If it was just him, his neck must be on the old chopping block too. Someone must know.
Why would that put his head on the blocks exactly? Hughtons a good manager and we could quite easily have 6 more points than we do now if only we''d have converted some of our chances in the qpr, west ham and spurs game (where friedal had the game of his life) The last time I came on here im sure your avatar or signature was along the lines of "in Hughton I trust" How has this changed after so few games? I think your fickle, Id be willing to bet that if the only difference to our season was that if Martins attempted shot that his the crossbar had gone in and we were sitting just outside the relegation zone you would not be attacking NCFC at every possible angle, as it appears your doing now.
 7.
We used to sing this in the Barclay to a Norwich player about 4 years ago. I can''t remember who it was though. Anyone know?   .
Mo Camara
 8. I agree, I didnt realise a new stand would cost as much as 16m either! It does seem what with the TV rights package the premier league are getting next year (think i read somewhere even the bottom team receiving more than £60m) that the money is spent in the right places. Possible money gained through extra attendance seems almost nothing in comparison.
 9. "No casual tickets?" Would that add up? im not sure what the capacity of the city stand is but I assume we would still have to offer 10% of whatever our capacity would be to the away fans, then cutting out casual tickets completely (that will stop the moans about cost!) and maybe a further reduction from people who do not renew their tickets mean it might get a fair bit closer to working out. I do agree with what was said above about this not being financially viable for a few more years yet, which is a shame as I really think getting the city stand up to size would really compliment the ground
 10. Not sure how we would do this. If knocking down the city stand was the only option what would we do about those season ticket holders?
 11. Saw this on sky sports yesterday. The guy was just trying to be helpful.
 12.

Yet you''ve slated the Board for "lying" about the size of our budget?Hmm.... [:|]
A different time, a different me.
As it says on one of my shirts... Roses are Red Violets are Blue I''m schizophrenic And so am I
I think you''re confusing Schizophrenia with Multiple Personality Disorder. If you''re going to make a poor joke about mental illness, at least get it right. There are plenty of resources explaining the differences if you want to use Google, read and gain a little more awareness.
Glad to see the sense of humour bypass has gone so well.
Not only is your saying / t-shirt not funny, it''s also not even accurate. The only thing I find funny is someone who wasted money on an unfunny, inaccurate t-shirt.I hope it gives you loads of laughs though. Good for you.
I guess most of the public would make this confusion. So for a t-shirt providing a cheap laugh, whatever you stance is on how pc it is, its probably got it right.I applaud the OP to admitting to perhaps his overly harsh views of the past and realising the owners that we have here right now really are doing their all for this club.
 13. He''s a prominent poster on Not606 but reliable? not so sure Othernames he has linked recently includes Chris Mcann, Ehtrington and Felix Bastians. While Grant Holt was days away from signing a contract with West Ham despite the fact that we never accepted a bid for him To be fair to him though, he doesnt actually claim to be in the know most of the time, and presents most of these as just rumours - which you have not made clear in the OP
 14. and Anderlecht well in excess of 200 of them
 15.

What would excite me??... someone young, full of potential for the future, Bennett, Bennett, Howson, Pilks, Ayala, Butterfied for example. What doesnt excite me is a 28 year old who is injury prone and seen as surplus to requirements by one of the most experienced premier league managers. Feels (To me) like we are just trying to get bodies in for the sake of it, not building for the future.
Id like to be proven wrong though!
Why is building a squad for the future so important? its not necessary that are players in 5 years time are all the same as what we have now, nor that we need to be able to sell each player at a profit later on. I think we could agree that for whatever price we are paying for Turner you would not get a 20 year old with the same ability. Yes you''d get far more potential but what if Turners contribution this year amounts to us avoiding relegation? How exactly are you defining building for the future?
 16. @holty30 can I get a RT for charity football tourney being held today at creighton rugby club, Carlisle! Good cause! #holty4villa Most things with ''Carlisle'' or ''good cause'' seem to get a retweet from Holt so I wont look too much into that as I dont think he ever intended to offend anyone there. On the subject of contracts though I do feel it cant work both ways with players. If you sign a 3 year contract then spend most of it injured you still expect to be paid by the club, and while a club cant force you to stay, unless a price we cant turn down comes in for Holt I fully expect him to remain a Norwich player. he''s a professional and at the very least we know his transfer request wasn''t anything along the lines of disliking Norwich Also I wouldnt hate on him too much, I can understand his reasoning, he wouldn''t have earnt that much compared to other premier league players throughout his career and a third year of wages here could make a lot of difference to his position. Seeing players like Barton (who was for the most part a bane for QPR this season) earning 80k a week certainly doesn''t help My guess would be that he hasn''t scored his last goal for this club.
 17. "I would go as far to say, that if we fail to keep a clean sheet all season we don''t actually deserve to stay up"Disagree, we will deserve to stay up if we finish above 18th regardless of goals conceded. we are mid table at the minute and deservedly so, we do not play as some newly promoted teams have done in the past to grind out 1-0 wins - be it because of our style of play or if you prefer the quality/experience of our team as a defensive unit - the league is full of top attacking players from all sides and and the way we''re gonna overcome them is to outscore them, getting attacking support from the full backs and getting numbers forward, we have players in Holt and Morrison who will hold up the ball and do the job up the other end, I couldn''t care less if we''re winning games 5-4, if the goals conceded were due to luck / a consequence of our playstyle and not just generally clueless defending (which hasn''t happened)On the other hand ill admit it would be good to see the mistakes at the back ironed out - but shit happens, they''re capable defenders and im as proud of the team and the effort from the lads as I have been for the last 2 years. we''re going in the right direction. Dont underestimate the teams in this league or forget where we were 2 years ago.
 18. My bad, I skipped over all that bit thinking it was about Blatter, ok, hes back in the knob box.
 19. I thought Bright handled the situation terribly at the time, demanding all Norwich fans unfollow him (although this was due to the stick he was getting off a few fans at the time - not because of the racist views of whatever that bloke was called)However you cant argue with what hes said here, hes highlighted the fact that it was just one individual and praised the attitudes of other canaries as well as the action the club took. Cant really complain.
 20. Martin would have scored in league 2 with Luton, don''t think hes ever played in the BSP. Still, will be an impressive achievement should he have a part to play this season, as is Holts rise through the divisions.
 21. Banana was hardly getting on Holts back, at the end of the day he knew the whistle was gone and shouldn''t have done what he did.  On the other hand he was probably running on adrenaline and just wanted to see the ball in the back of the net, it also delayed the game by a few more seconds as well as giving our team a chance to restructure, Holts a class player, and even if hes having to take more of a back seat role than he did last season he''s one hell of a player for us to bring on from the bench to chase the game.
 22. Its only "norwich/QPR/Swansea" is a statement I feel only the two manchester clubs are going to be able to make this season I feel, and even then there may be still be surprises along the way, such is the premierleague Great result today, 100% deserved
 23. Got the 2010 version of the one you have Ben, its been fantastic and is the perfect laptop for me as a student Haven''t bothered with anti virus myself and haven''t had a virus, had it about a year and a half now and it performs just as it did when I got it, fantastic battery life and no regrets at all.
